follow your heart, follow the stars [solo]

Poppy had decided, as she woke from a nap on the riverside, that her time in the forest had reached its end. She followed the river until the sun began to set, until she'd ventured past the places that carried the scent of the forest cats, and then she set out following a path that would lead her home. It was easier to chart a course beneath the night sky, stars shining endlessly in all directions- how she'd forgotten the way they sparkled in the light, the soft glow of the moon and the brilliant light of day.

Moons trapped in a sad and dusty place had given her a new perspective on even the old, familiar beauty of the world. Each flower that managed to grow in the cold caught her attention, the earth beneath her paws soft and feeling so right.

Soon she would be home, carrying tales of her journey so far.
