Honeykit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled from the top of the rock.

Jayclaw quickly awoke stumbling towards the jaggedrock rock for the meeting.

Several ShadowClan cats had appeared into the clearing at the leader's call, among them the small she-cat, Honeykit. Even though she was a moon or two past the normal age for apprenticeship, due to an unfortunate case of greencough that she totally got over eventually yay time paradoxes, now she was up and ready to start her training. Her blue-green eyes beamed in enthusiasm.

Looking down at the cats that gathered, Thrushstar continued with his words. "Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice." He looked down at Honeykit approvingly. "Since she has become strong and healthy once again, Honeykit, you are now to be known as Honeypaw until you receive your warrior name. Your mentor will be Jayclaw. I pray that he teaches you everything that he knows."
