God damn it.

:c

Poor dude. Right after signing that extension too.

Oh well. I believe in Based Stanton. Not saying he's going to be the next Tom Brady or anything, but I think he can lead the Cards to the Promised Land.

Predictions:
Lolphans
BROWNS
Vikes
Broncos
Niners
Chargers
Packers
Falcons
Saints
Chiefs (;_;)
Skins
Loins
Pats

Last week:
9-4

All-time:
99-48

More disclaimers:
I think the Texans could f**k up the Browns, because God has forsaken Cleveland and it'd be a very Browns thing to happen.

Bears are God awful but I could see them getting angry and taking out their frustrations on the Vikings.

Felt compelled to pick Giants since it's a cross country trip but ech. Hopefully New York pulls one out but I'm not sure if I'd count on it.

Really wanted to pick the Raiders again, but alas, every time I think about picking them they end up getting destroyed. It's just not meant to be Oakland. But beat the Chargers in Qualcomm tho. It'd be hilarious.

Iggles-Packers is pretty close, but Butt Fumble can only lead one to ruin.

Wouldn't be surprised if Panthers won.

Chiefs can die.

Wanted to pick Buccs too but I didn't. Should trust my gut instead of logic, because whenever I just throw a bunch of picks down I tend to do good, but whatever.

Would laugh my a** off if Rams beat Denver. I could see it happening too. It's just a Rams thing to do. The Rams' days as the Greatest Show on Turf are over, so it feels like their only purpose in life now is to try and piss in other people's cereal bowls. And while I hate that, because they're always trying to bumrape my HEKS, I also can't help but love it, because they like doing it to everybody else too. I didn't pick them, because I also saw the Jags beating the Cowboys and we all know how that turned out, but you know. It's fun to dream.

Predictions:
Chiefs
Saints
Seahawks
Broncos
Bills
Cowboys
Packers
Browns
Patriots
Chargers
Texans
Niners
Iggles
Bears
Colts

This week: 8-6
(I picked the Steelers to win for MNF but forgot to write it down here. You'll just have to believe me.)

All-time: 107-54

100 WINS NEGGUH

.504 WIN PERCENTAGE

Official NFL Megathread - Page 6 VCqs3Wn

My mid-season playoff predictions are also feeling laughably bad now, so let me try and save face and recreate them to be less terrible.
Official NFL Megathread - Page 6 LduP0rk

It was painful to put the Niners there, but the rest of the Seahawks schedule is f**king Death Row. All of our divisional games and the Iggles. Like wtf. Why do you hate us, God? If you're wondering where the Boys went, I have West Coast Bias. I don't want to believe in them. 8-8 is still possible. Please.

(for some reason I thought Romo was still injured and out, which is why Eagles are 3rd seed instead of being eliminated completely)
(I also just really don't like the Cowboys that much)

LATER SUPER BOWL PREDICTIONS
1. Pats VS Cards
2. Pats VS Packers
3. Jaguars VS Seahawks

friendly reminder that i said this at the beginning of the season:

Little did we all know, New England's brutalizing of Indie marked the beginning of the end, and never was this more evident than in the Week 12 slaughter forever known afterwards as "Black Sunday," when the motley Jaguars visited the Colts in their own dome. There are no words nor paintings that can describe the stark and utter horror of that day to those who were not around to witness it. The Jaguars, the silly little rascally 1-9 Jaguars, who had been sitting on the bottom of the standings since Week 1, were born again in the blood and fire that the city of Indianapolis had been reduced to by the end of the 4th Quarter. The Colts franchise folded immediately, and now we only speak of them in hushed whispers, if at all.

The sports world could only watch, stunned, horrified, and helpless. They knew immediately that this wasn't a fluke, and any doubt was washed away in the week that followed. The Giants had not held any playoff hopes that season, but they couldn't have known that the Massacre in Jacksonville would destroy all their hopes for all time. The Giants never sniffed so much as a .500 season ever again. They say Eli Manning still wanders the streets at night, a lonely and unspeakably sad figure that hangs on the fringes of our imagination, a ghostly reminder of what happened to those who dared cross the 2014 Jacksonville Jaguars.

And he who looks back on the ruins of his dark life asks himself:
Where is the horse gone?
Where the rider?
Where the feast?
Where the joy?

Alas, bright cup!
Alas, proud prince!
Our time has passed,
As if it had not been.

It is said that Coughlin burst into flames by halftime. In the aftermath, the Texans and Titans both offered to formally forfeit the division, but the Jaguars had been filled with a new blood-lust, and neither Goodell nor the owners nor all the angels in heaven had the power to stop them. During Week 14, only Watt dared to attempt to compete against these new Jaguars. When he slipped past the O-Line and moved to sack Based Bortled God however, the rookie quarterback only glanced at him, and Watt was engulfed in the smokeless fires of Iblis. A great wailing rose from the country, and the Houston Texans fled before them in terror.

The Ravens, who had been locked in a tight four-way division battle for supremacy over the AFC North, were destroyed completely. Maryland remains a lawless wasteland to this day, beyond the helping of God or nations. Seeing that their times were up, rather than face the Jaguars like men, the entire Titans roster performed ritual suicide in their training facility. What remained of the Texans took their example, and the Jaguars improved to 7-9, winning the AFC South and a place in the playoffs for the first time since 2007. The League trembled in fear, winter's cold grip tightened, and the postseason began.

Official NFL Megathread - Page 6 T8RT9C1

I do not wish to detail the terrible things that occurred in those dark months. In the NFC, the Seahawks had found their old fire after barely sneaking into the postseason, and had trumped team after team, culminating in the nailbiter Championship victory over their division rivals, the Cardinals. But in the AFC...

Team after team had fallen to the might Jaguars, and it seemed as if nothing could stop them. No one but our hero, our lord and savior, our greatest and humblest knight, Peyton F**king Manning and his Hall of Fame-caliber offense. At the time, his pre-game rallying speech had filled our hearts with hope. Now we only know sorrow, when we remember his words and his face as he said them. That day, that dark day, just before our darkest hour, was immortalized in a play.

But on that day, evil triumphed. 5:34 minutes left in the 2nd Quarter, in an uncharacteristically close game for the Jagurs, one so close that for a moment we all dared to hope, our brave prince took to the field. His O-Line tried their best to protect him, but they were too weak in the face of such strength, and a DT slipped through and dove at him. He was immediately crushed into mulch under his great weight.

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
                        But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
                                 Fallen cold and dead.

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
                        Here Captain! dear father!
                           This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
                                You’ve fallen cold and dead.

My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
                           But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
                                 Fallen cold and dead.

It was a grim winter day in Phoenix when the Super Bowl began, and many in Seattle wept and took their own lives so they did not have to witness what was about to befall our team. But at kickoff, when the ball met the punter's leg, great thunder and tumult filled the world. A voice rumbled like an earthquake, saying that this was Yawm al-Qiyāmah, or the end times. Angels wielding swords of fire swooped down, filling the stadium with the screams of the damned. When Richard Sherman looked up at the holy white light that shone from the Based Bortled God, who levitated at mid-field, he let out a wail and turned away, two smoking holes where his eyes once were. Then the game began.

Jacksonville wins 14-6.

Colts 43, Jaguars 15

So anyway, my picks.

Kansas City over Oakland (duh)
Cleveland over Atlanta
Buffalo over the Jets
Chicago over Tampa Bay
Indianapolis over Jacksonville
Green Bay over Minnesota
New England over Detroit
Philadelphia over Tennessee
Houston over Cincinnati
San Diego over St. Louis
Seattle over Arizona
Denver over Miami
San Francisco over Washington
Dallas over the Giants
Baltimore over New Orleans

Washington will never win again until the wrongs they have committed are righted. The poor people  they have harmed with their actions will curse them until they do what is right and change it once and for all. No wins will befall them until they do the right thing, what everyone has been clamoring for this entire year (especially in Minnesota), and make Colt McCoy the starting quarterback. The Curse of the Colt.

And then sign Tim Tebow to back him up.

And Vince Young.

In other news, THE PLAYOFF MACHINE IS FINALLY UP!

I've been looking forward to abusing this thing all season, tbh.
