And a bit of Silver

Silverkit moved around the dusty clearing with nothing to do. She held her silver chest high in a proud manor, despite it being cold and her being small. She knew one day she was going to take pride in what she did but for now she was a quiet kit. A small quiet kit. A small quiet kit, but proud.

Riverkit walked out of the nursery and headed for the center of the clearing. She enjoyed watching the clan walk around and do their duties she couldn't wait to become an apprentice. Stopping she noticed another kit in the clearing. Excitedly she walked up to the other kit. "Hey!" She called before she sat down next to the kit and wrapped her tail over her paws.

Silverkit was a bit startled by the call at first. She quickly looked at the new appearance of the other kit, and responded shyly. "Hi.." This was her first time seeing anyone new, for she was born not to long ago.

Riverkit twitched her ear at the cool breeze that blew through the camp. She could tell the slightly younger kit was a bit shy. "Im Riverkit" she mewed in a friendly manner. The sun felt nice on her back warming her fur up after the breeze cooled her to her bones.

Silverkit sat in silence for a moment before responding. "I'm Silverkit." She said as she shuffled the dirt around at her paws. It was rather cold outside, but the sun easily fought that.

Riverkit tilted her head to the side in thought. What could Silverkit and her do inside the camp? "Want to play..... With this feather? " she asked when she spotted a feather just a few feet away from them. Riverkit never had anyone to play with so she was hopeful Silverkit would play with her.

"Sure, I guess." Silverkit replied to her new found friend. The silver kit didn't have any idea of what to do with the feather but she hoped Riverkit would have more of an idea than her. Honestly anything seemed fun right now.

Riverkit bounded over to the feather and swatted it up into the air. "We should try and keep it from touching the ground." She mewed happily. Riverkit was so happy she found someone to play with, she hoped they would become good friends.

NettleKit bounded from out of the Nursery, spotting RiverKit and SilverKit playing with a feather. Bubbling up to her fellow friends, she watched the feather dance lightly in the air, occassionally spinning out of control when her friends batted a paw at it. "Hey! Can I join in with you two?" She asked after watching for a while.

Silverkit launched at the newcomer, and nodded an agreement before focusing the feather again. This can was rather interesting for her, occasionally paws would hit other paws and other time they saved it from hitting the ground. The silver kit gave out a meal of enjoyment at this game.

Riverkit was excited another kit was joining them, "sure!" She mewed excitedly. Her paws swatted at the feather most of the time she just missed it and she looked like she was just pawing at the air. Riverkit purred as she played along until she accidentally let the feather touch the ground. She looked down at it and quickly swatted it back in the air.

NettleKit saw the sneaky movement of the feather in RiverKit's part, but wouldn't tell on her. Swiping at the feather, she collided paws with SilverKit, as payback for pouncing on her. Growling playfully, she ignored the feather and pounced on the two of them, side by side. Failing to pounce on RiverKit properly she flopped off of her grey friend's pelt, laughing happily.

Twokit leapt out of the nursery, almost falling over as he landed. Seeing the other three kits playing, he decided to join in. Unfortunately, considering this was his first time outside of the nursery, he had never played games before, so he had no idea how to play. Noticing that the other cats were jumping on top of eachother, he figured that is what they were doing. After they all stood up again, he ran and leapt on Riverkit, knocking her to the ground and almost crushing her. "Hi there! I'm Twokit. Can I play with you guys?" Noticing Nettlekit and Silverkit looking at him weirdly, he thought he must have done something wrong. He jumped off of Riverkit before saying, "Sorry. I'm so sorry I jumped on you. Are you alright?"

NettleKit laughed at the kit's attempt. "Sure, you can join in. We might play moss ball now." Realising this was the kits first time outside of the nursery, the ginher and dark brown kitten explained the rules. "You het a moss ball and dab it in some water, then you fling it up and either watch the drops, or you can bat it around and pass it to each other." She comforted TwoKit, making sure he was alright out of the safety of his mothers watchful, protecting eye.

Riverkit let out a surprised squeal as twokit landed on her. She quickly got back on her paws and chuckled to herself at how nervous he was. "Im Riverkit" she said as she placed her tail on his back to comfort him. "You'll make a great fighter with that surprise attack!" She purred. Riverkit looked around to see if she could find some moss for them to play with. She noticed a small pile of moss over by the elders den and pointed to it with her tail. "There's some moss we can use" she mewed.
