Silver Aqua~

Silverdapple had been walking along the edges of the newly set border early one chilly leaf-fall morning. She had to get out of the new make-shift camp, it was crowded and so weird. I miss our old camp but the dogs are still there, probably destroying everything. As she walked she caught the scent of another cat, A young cat? Maybe a kitten! Picking up the pace she hurried with her white tail high towards the scent, leading her to a thick clump of tall weeds. Mewing softly, "Hello? Kitten? Are you alright?" Her emerald green eyes scanned the undergrowth, for any signs of movement.

Aquakit had been hiding in the undergrowth. She was scared, lost and a little bit disorientated. Where am I? She thought. Suddenly she heard paw steps and a voice. "Help me!" She squeaked in fear.

The pretty Silverdapple nosed around in the bushes and found the kit stuck, carefully she grasped her scruff and hauled her out. Checking her pelt for any cuts she groomed the kitten softly, "Darling are you hurt? Where's your mother?" She mewed worried for the little one.

Aquakit didn't struggle against the strange cat who picked her up. "I'm not hurt and I don't know where mummy is!" She squeaked terrified. "Where am I?"

Silverdapple mewed with a silken purr, "You're in Windclan little one, would you be okay if I brought you to camp? I'm sure we can take care of you." She mewed hoping the kitten agreed. With leaf-bare coming a lot of strays will die.

"S-sure I would," squeaked the little kit. She felt quite cold.

Silverdapple purred in delight, "Wonderful! I can take care of you like a mother, yes?" She gazed down with her dark green eyes. Noticing the kitten shiver she swept her thick white tail around her for warmth.

"Sure," she squeaked. It was good to be with someone, even if it wasn't her mother.

Silverdapple trilled with pleasure, scooping the kitten up gently, she padded towards camp. Swishing her thick tail in an effort to calm her excitement, Oh my! I'm practically a mom! I better make a nest in the nursery, must hunt too! So much to do. With the last thoughts they reached camp.
