It did not take long for the roars of monsters to become no different than bird chatter to Silverdusk. The first few times they had charged past them while on patrol she had been terrified, now this patrol route was second nature and the monsters did not even cause the pelt along her spine to bristle. they stuck to their... Territory? The stinking black river that marked the border between ThunderClan and ShadowClan. The horrid stench that emanated from it was much harder to adjust to. The stench made them dread patrolling along this route, especially when did so regularly as this took them past the SkyClan border. Acornstar did not want further violence with the clan, and neither did Silverdusk, but for their own piece of mind diligently patrolling it was her only solace. Sometimes, she hoped they would paths with SkyClan's new deputy, to be able to talk to one another without the pressure of the watchful gaze of the clans, but so far they had not been granted the opportunity. If they patrolled the border enough eventually the tall molly was bound to run into Honeydew.
Today however, it was not the cream she-cat she'd be crossing paths with. A flash of brown followed by silver and the scent of ShadowClan shot right across their field of sight. It had been so unexpected that for a moment they were stunned, before realising this was an issue to be dealt with. The trees moved past in a blur, as her longs legs pulled her forward, gaining on the ShadowClanner with every second. It was strange, almost like a hunting a cat, but the chase was fun and it wasn't long before the molly was within puncing distance. They tensed briefly, mustering their strength, before springing onto their back. The sudden attack and the momentum of Silverdusk's sprint carried over, causing the two to roll with the ThunderClanner coming out on top. It would not take long for him to come round, so before the situation could be flipped they ensured to place their paws atop his limbs, pinning Silverhawk deftly. "You are on ThunderClan territory." she hissed "What say you in your defnce?"
Silverdusk used Leap and Hold on Silverhawk! Dealing -8 HP and costing -15 SP! Silverhawk is pinned for 1 turn

Silverhawk loathed the Thunderpath. It was a wretched little stretch of territory, with all the noise and monster-reek. But, like all land, it had its benefits. Prey could still be found there, however more skittish; the strip of dangerous earth served as a fine distinction between ThunderClan and his own. It was unmissable; had the rat he was pursuing taken to fleeing across the Thunderpath, Silverhawk would have had no choice but to stop. The strange, uncomfortable stone under his paws would have halted him immediately.
But the rat was a fool. It ducked into the reeking tunnel that curled under the Thunderpath, allowing them safe passage to Gatherings. Dimly, a voice snapped at him that this would still result in trespass. Churned mud belonged under his paws, though; and he was fast. Silverhawk was sure he could spring free of the tunnel and land right on top of his quarry on the other side. Then he'd be done with it, and he could worm his way back across. There hadn't been any patrols coming--at least not that he'd seen in his exceedingly quick glance before ducking below ground.
But his exit and subsequent flight had drawn attention. Moments before he could drive his weight into a lunge, weight suddenly crashed into him. Silverhawk rolled against the ground with a hiss of outrage. He began to thrash immediately, but strong paws found his shoulders and kept him pressed down. He cursed the sunlight that struck his eyes when he tried to look upon his assailant. The voice that rumbled at him was charged with an accent Silverhawk never heard before, and so he assumed this was a misaligned rogue... but the cat spoke as if they were a ThunderClan warrior.
Silverhawk gave up his squirming and went still. Squinting up, he finally took in the silver fur and strange features of the cat above him. His lip curled into an expression bordering smile and grimace. Oh, I should gut you! What a brute, interrupting his hunt and tackling him like this. Fury burned behind the cocky tilt to his grin. "Will you accept the plea of a harmless mistake?" Then, suddenly, he jerked his body to the side again. There was enough surprise and force to shake the ThunderClanner's weight from his body; and so it was her turn to be pitched to the ground, with Silverhawk quickly scrambling to his paws and stepping back.
Silverhawk attempted Duck and Twist... attempt successful! Dealt 7 damage and cost 5 SP. Silverhawk is no longer pinned.

Silverdusk narrowed her eyes as he spoke. A bad excuse, and an obvious lie. His wry smile simmered their anger and in disgust at his flippant nature they recoiled, grip loosening. He was no fool taking advantage in the sudden shift of weight, lashing out and sending the silver warrior rolling. A hiss escaped past their lips as the ground slipped out from beneath them. The ShadowClanner retreated backwards, a mistake to give her reprieve. Silverdusk’s recovery was fast, following the roll through so not to exert more energy, and then surging forward again. Unsheathed claws raked across the trespasser’s hide. “I would be a fool to believe you weren’t aware. Especially as you seemed to be stealing from us.” they hissed.
Silverdusk used Front Paw Strike on Silverhawk! Dealing -8 HP and costing -7 SP

Silverhawk's ears folded down and his lip curled, half-smile half-sneer, while the ThunderClanner rolled back to their paws. "Oh, come on now," he huffed. He didn't hiss when claws raked through his pelt, but his expression briefly contorted into a more violent grimace. Blood welled quickly to fill the gashes, mucking his fur. Before the taller warrior could move too far away, Silverhawk tutted, "Ah-ah! Don't go too far," and lunged for her scruff. His teeth sank in deep and he wrenched down and back, dragging her body into an unleverageable position. "I won't let you get away like that rat did." Silverhawk growled around the mouthful of fur, skin, and blood. "You saw me come from the tunnel, didn't you? How could I steal a rat that ran under the Thunderpath to get here?"
Silverhawk used Teeth Grip, dealing 8 damage and costing 10 SP. Silverdusk is gripped for 1 turn.

Their claws snagged in the soft dirt as they fought against Silverhawk's vice like grip. No one had ever dared to fight back like this, the tall warrior would enjoy winning this fight. As he wrenched them closer, she flipped over, exposing her belly, but making the hold he had on her awkward. It was enough to allow them to lash out, Claws connected with fur and flesh, but it was a clumsy blow and they knew it. There wasn't that satisfying feeling of sinking, of knowing they'd done damage. "I am not blind, unlike you." spat Silverdusk, suddenly twisting out of his grasp. Dirt sprayed as she regained their footing, teeth gritting together in frustration, but their eyes glimmered with adrenaline. "It crossed the border, or is your sense of smell as good as your eyesight?"
Silverdusk used Front Paw Blow on Silverhawk! Dealing -7 HP and costing -5 SP! Silverdusk is no longer gripped !

The taller warrior writhed around, wormlike between his teeth. Silverhawk grimaced at the way she squirmed, forcing his jaw to bend uncomfortably just to keep his hold on her. His grip was embarrassingly brief, as they managed to worm around enough to force his jaw open. She got away, but only barely, and Silverhawk was in hot pursuit. He pressed after them when they tried to regain their footing, ignoring the now-decidedly-foolish spitting to force their belly back into exposure. Trying only earned him claws to the ears, though, and he hissed savagely at the strikes, refusing to dignify the silver warrior with any further response.
Silverhawk is attempting Belly Rake... attempt failed. Dealt 5 damage to self and cost 25 SP.
Predictable idiocy from the ShadowClan tom, he really just expected her to expose her vital areas so easily. They had trained her better than that. As Silverhawk pressed forward, Silverdusk danced away parrying back with their own. His hisses only further delighted the tall warrior, he was not to talkative now they had the advantage. Silverdusk got cocky though, the same blunder they always made. They ducked out of the way of one strike only to be met by claws. Pain split across her forehead, and blood temporarily blinded them. While the wound wasn't too deep, the blood would certainly be an inconvenience and another challenge in a fight that was now sloppy on both sides. She tried to lash out again, but missed entirely, blind sided by the blood. Letting out a snarl of frustration as their paw came crashing down into the soft mud, they shook their head trying to clear their vision, splattering both cats.

A bark of disdainful laughter shuddered out of Silverhawk's chest. He shouldn't have taken the ThunderClanner for an idiot, not when they were proving to put up a good fight, but honestly--who did she think he was?! Attempting the same move against him! Silverhawk ducked their clumsy blows easily, grateful for the blood clouding her eyes. It was his opportunity to strike back, and he lashed out with everything he had, digging claws and teeth into reach of fur and flesh that he could.
Silverhawk used Snap + Desperate Blows, dealing 13 (8+5) damage and costing 14 (7+7) SP.
His laughter infuriated her, winding Silverdusk up, leading to more easy mistakes and drawing a sharp hiss of pain from her. As his claws connected with them again, the silver she-cay fell limp, falling to the floor. The ShadowClanner was as arrogant and frenzied as they were, as he stalked closer Silverdusk exploded in a rapid flurry of claws, hoping to gain back what she had lost and quickly.
Silverdusk used Play Dead on Silverhawk. Dealing -10 HP and costing -5 SP
