Soulkit started walking beside Yellowkit. "I'm almost an apprentice so shush". He aimed at Lionpaw. He then leaned towards Yellowkit. "So are you hurt or anything?" He said with concern trying to hide his caring emotion to keep his role of the fearless shadow clan warrior he was to be.

Yellow was appalled by the kitten's concern. She gazed at him with wide eyes, "N-No!" She lied, forcing herself to walk on the cut paw.

Lionpaw looked at her suspiciously from narrowed eyes but reluctantly nodded. "Alright," he mewed, as they padded on.

Shadepaw spoke up. "We're nearing camp, guys," he said from behind his shoulder. They went into camp, ignoring the stares of the other warriors. "Should we take her up to Nightstar's den or wait down here? I don't really want to annoy Nightstar but we need to tell her about Yellowkit ..."

Yellowkit looked at them and then at the ground, aware that others were looking at them.

Once they reached Nightstar's den, Cormorantpaw cleared her throat nervously. "N-Nightstar! We've got a young kit here. Her name is Yellowkit and-" She paused, wondering if a warrior should be doing this instead... "She says her kin was attacked."

Yellowkit watched nervously.

Soulkit sat down and eagerly sheathed and unsheathed his rather lengthy claws. Soulkit yawned and flicked his ear sitting up straight waiting for their leader to come.

Yellowkit looked over at soul kit and tilted her head to the side in thought.
