Sandpaw's Battle Training

Feeling very much elated, Sandpaw nodded. "I think so." He paced sideways, looking for a good attacking point. Probably from the side; I can't imagine that trying to push him over from the front would actually work. Jumping at Reedstar's side, he tried to put all of his weight and force into the tackle. While he wasn't small for an apprentice, he didn't quite know how to use his strength and partially larger size to an advantage.


OOC: I'd probably be paying more attention to this topic if I weren't so obsessed with Civilizations V right now XP

But Reedstar was ready for that. As Sandpaw slammed into him he rolled with the hit. He was only on his back for a heartbeat before he was back on his paws and back into position. It had been a good attempt for what it was worth, but not good enough. "I saw that coming from a tree-length away. Try again! Surprise me this time."

Inwardly sighing, Sandpaw crouched once more. He didn't bother to think about it, just dashed to Reedstar's left before faking and leaping to his right and barreling into him, giving it his best and his all, praying to StarClan that this would go as planned.
