Beepaw frowned, feeling his claw slice through just the tiniest edge of the fish's tail-fin. So close!  But he'd learn from that mistake.  He nodded silently that he was going to try again, but didn't speak, finding the need to concentrate.  Watching the fish again, he waited until he knew his timing was right before lashing out his paw. Yes! he thought as he pulled the fish from the water and killed it quickly, natural instinct taking over for a moment. Then he looked up at Mapleclaw to see what she had to say.
