This is a border patrol. Just a border patrol. Totally not an one-cat invasion or anything. Like wowe, why would you even think that? That's so rediculous. Ahahahah... [nervous sweating]. Seriously, just look away. Nothing to see here, folks. Nope.

Honeypaw, who has totally been just floating around and doing nothing in ShadowClan for a month or two, decided to try and do things on her own when neither her leader now her clan was looking. She was going to go out hunting on her own! It didn't seem to be working out well so far, but once she reached the ThunderClan, she did see a small mouse scurry across the flat stone monster path, straight into ThunderClan territory. She was hungry, though, and unwilling for her meal to get away. And so, she totally ran across the Thunderpath into enemy territory. Once she'd gotten there, she'd made the kill hers and sat up proudly, prey in her grasp.

Take that, Thunderlosers.
It was her mouse now.

She began glancing around, wondering if there was more prey to find.

"What are you doing here, apprentice?!" A dusky (haha) brown tom stepped out of a bush, claws unsheathed and green eyes fixed on the younger cat. The tom had no intention of beating up a puny SC apprentice, but after the unprecedented attack by Mouseclaw, he was getting a little concerned for how freely SC seemed about just waltzing into their territory. Perhaps a show of strength was need, but surely not on an apprentice. He had no clue how one would miss the very obvious clan boundary of the Thunderpath, but he gave her the benefit of doubt.

Admittedly, Duskfall had scared her only, well... a lot. Her pelt fluffed up and she nearly fell backwards, dropping her kill. She'd expected some ThunderClan cats to show up, but... well... not this soon! The she-cat quickly stood up and shook her fright away... or most of it anyways. (This cat was pretty huge after all). But she was a ShadowClan cat. She couldn't show fear. "W-what's it look like u-um... er... mouse-brain!" She stuttered through the fur of her mouse, eying his unsheathed claws for a moment. "I'm hunting!"

"I see. Hunting on Thunderclan territory. Do they not teach apprentices about the warrior code in Shadowclan?" The tom spoke dryly, relaxing as he realised this probably wasn't a co-ordinated attack of some sort. The apprentice looked far too nervous and uncertain, also there was no scent of other cats nearby. He placed this 'invasion' as nothing but a foolish kits attempt at showmanship. Trying to prove something to her clan or Thunderclan. But that didn't mean he was going to put away his claws, perhaps a fright would teach her to not stray from the border.

"I think you should drop that mouse and go home, apprentice. It's a dark and dangerous forest, we wouldn't want something to happen to you."

Where had she gone off too..? He was here, in the muddy terrains of their home, Shadowclan. Not many clans understood shadowclan, but thats alright Jayclaw knew that Shadowclan was the most loyal clan in the entire forest. With a huff the broad grey tom, trudged through the territory ignoring the disturbing icky feelings that the mud gave him as he took long confident strides forwards. The aging tom had been planning to give Honeypaws assesment soon, she was such a bright apprentice, it was about time for her to become a warrior. The old grey tom ears perked forward, his eyes narrowing as his gaze turned over towards the path of the thunder-path. Jayclaw had been following her scent trail, what was strange about it was that Honeypaw had seemed to wander off towards the thunder-path.

Jayclaw's pace slowly changed. He wasn't walking, but he wasn't jogging, and he wasn't running. He trotted at a easy pace, his face emotionless. The thunder-path was a dangerous place to be, more dangerous during night. He was able to quickly notice Honeypaws bright golden fur, an eased smile spreaded across his old features. Although his bright blue eyes narrowed in suspicion at another voice, he heard about Duskfall. Rockfall had said that a Skyclanner had joined thunderclan to be with her love of her life "Duskfall" And the tom gave quite a perfect description as well. Slowly slipping out of the shadows, "Greetings.. Duskfall." Jayclaws voice had boomed his dark blue eyes glinting. He huffed at what he had asked his apprentice, giving the tom a rather judge mental look. "Now Duskfall.. Don't be so silly.. I know that your mate is from Skyclan. Don't be telling us that we're the ones that don't know the code." The large tom spoke, his blue eyes narrowing. If he would try to do something, Jayclaw could easily take him on, he fought many battles before. One thunderclanner would be a piece of cake.

"Stay on your side, warrior. Or I will take this as an invasion by Shadowclan." Duskfall spoke calmly, but his body language was tense. He realised quickly his odds had changed dramatically, but wasn't too concerned as he doubted the Shadowclan cat would attack. From what he saw at the last gathering, Shadowclan had no deputy and few warriors left. They wouldn't dare attack him on Thunderclan territory, it would be well in Thunderclan's right then to take on Shadowclan.

Which was a pity, Duskfall was well aware his reputation wasn't great from taking on Softsong as a mate, but she had had a sign from Starclan (according to her). And she was the mother of two loyal Thunderclan warriors, and the Thunderclan medicine cat. He felt little to no shame for his actions, and even if he did, he wasn't going to let some Shadowclan warrior know of it. But duking it out in a fight was tempting, but he had more important concerns beyond being involved in petty squabbles.

"Regardless of my taste in mates, she crossed the border. Surely you're not going to argue this?"

A grey and ginger tom sat in the forest, hidden in the undergrowth. Frozenflame watched as his "uncle", or his father's best friend, picked a fight with some Shadowclaners. He unsheathed his claws, but stayed hidden downwind, sure no body knew he was there. Let's have some fun. He stood up and walked around, rustling bushes and tree branches to make it look like there were a lot of cats hiding in the forest. "Leave Duskfall alone, Shadowclan scum. There are plenty more of us here to fight. Two against half of Thunderclan isn't close to an even match," Frozenflame growled in a low, booming voice. It was fun to pull tricks, maybe he would do this more often. He just hoped other Thunderclan cats would come incase the Shadowclan cats chose to attack and realize that he was lying.

Honeypaw wrinkled her nose at the ThunderClan warrior. "It doesn't matter whose territory it is, it's our mouse!" The she-cat mewed stubbornly, "I caught it fair and square!" There was no way that she'd be dropping it now!

Her ears twisted around, catching a familiar tom as he padded across the Thunderpath. It was one of the few times she had never been happier to see her mentor. But what he said... She gave the other tom a strange look. He mated with a SkyClan cat? Why?

The tip of her tail twitched a bit nervously as another enemy warrior appeared. She started to feel threatened, just a bit, before she realized how silly his words sounded. "What, are you scared of me?" she taunted Frozenflame. Really inside, his sharp words made her feel giddy. Was she really that scary? 8D

Greenleaf crept up beside his brother, asking without speaking if there was anything he could do.

Jayclaws whiskers twitched unamused, was a warrior seriously making this a big deal over such a small mouse? Did the tom not realize that Green-leaf was the best time of the year to catch prey? Flicking his tail, the senior warrior nodded. On some terms Duskfall was correct, he didn't want to make a big deal out of such a small piece of prey. Jayclaws bright blue gaze turned over to honeypaw, a small frown appeared on his face. It was going to be difficult for Honeypaw to let the mouse go, he knew how much she despised thunderclan. Jayclaw's ears perked forwards as he heard rustling, although he remained calm it was such a foolish trick, but the senior warrior decided to play along. "It seems like Thunderclan planned an invasion instead?" The old tom mewed, a playful grin on his face. Thunderclans leader was weak, her dissaperance many moons ago probably left the she-cat with a few lifes left. Thrushstar still lived with nine lifes strong. "Why doesn't this invasion show it self then? I never took Thunderclan too sneak attack in the first place." Jayclaw mewed, knowing that he was only speaking with one or two other cats.
