After the Vigil

Mudfoot followed Ivyfur side by side as she walked

((Sorry it's short and I guess so if you want.))

Ooc: You are completely fine. I am now in school so mine may be short.

Ivyfur smiled as she came back to camp. She took a small mouse, and plopped down in a sun-lit spot to eat.

Mudfoot padded into camp right behind Ivyfur with a rabbit dangling from his jaws. The rabbits fur and his own had burs and thorns in it. The rabbit had run into a bramble bush and like a mouse-brain Mudfoot had went in after it. He carried it over to where Ivyfur had sat down and asked "Do you mind if I sit here?"

Ivyfur shook her head, looking down. "No, I don't Mudfoot." She mewed. Taking a bite out of her mouse, she smiled.

He nodded and sat down beside her and began to eat his rabbit, loving the taste.

As she finished the rather small mouse, her gaze turned to Mudfoot. "So... how've you been feeling?"

Mudfoot was about halfway done with his large rabbit by the time she finished and between a bite he nodded and meowed, "Good, and yourself?" Then he took another bite, swallowed and looked back to Ivyfur, awaiting the answer.

Ivyfur looked at Mudfoot. "Fine... I just have been feeling somewhat, lonely lately." The cat said, quietly.

Mudfoot quickly finished the rest of his rabbit before he answered "Really? May I ask why?"

Ivyfur glanced away. "I feel as if I have no connection to the clan at all now- I-I mean no reason." The tabby stammered quickly.

Mudfoot tilted his head a little and asked "What do you mean?"

Ivyfur breathed in deeply, and looked at Mudfoot. "I feel like I haven't talked to anyone in moons, not any of my friends; any of the queens.. much less you, Mudfoot. I felt as if you were a friend to me, and I have wanted to talk to you for so long, yet I never have been able to..."

Mudfoot narrowed his eyes just a little, but not in anger or anything before answering "I've...wanted to talk to you to. It's just I wasn't sure what to say..."

Ooc: I understand. My posts aren't as good anymore.

Ic: Ivyfur pushed herself up to stretch before sitting back down again. "Really?" She wasn't really sure if anyone would ever want to talk to her, besides Lavenderheart and Twistedfoot.

Mudfoot nodded but said nothing for a couple minutes "Yeah...I figured you should have someone to talk to other than Twistedfoot and Lavenderheart. Not that their bad to talk to or anything."
