Medicine Cat Meeting 7/15/2013

(OOC: Sleeps has put me in charge of keeping track of when we need to do these gosh darn meetings because we haven't had one in MONTHS. So, here it is. I will be sending PMs out to all the Med Cats every time there is a meeting. Right now our little moon clock in the portal says 45%, but it ALSO says First Quarter, and so does the moon phase app on my phone, so we're going to go ahead and do this today. I would love it if you all participated. Thank you~)

Morningfur padded up to the Highstones. She glanced down at Lichenpaw, wondering if he had held up during the journey. He seemed fine to her. She also wondered if he was excited, since this was his first meeting.

Morningfur stopped outside the entrance to the tunnels and sat. "We'll have to wait for the others," she told Lichenpaw. "They should be here soon."

Lichenpaw was bursting with excitement, yet nervousness picked his belly. When he sat down, he snuggled close to his mentor's soft and fluffy fur, almost as if he was trying to become her. "I can't wait!" he exclaimed, muffled, into her fur.

Morningfur purred with amusement and looked around, wondering how long the other Medicine Cats would take.

Shadeheart arrived, slightly later than the other medicine cats. She was really excited, it was her first medicine cat meeting! "Sorry I'm late!" she exclaimed.

"It's fine," Morningfur meowed. "It's nice to meet you. I haven't really seen you around. I've been busy at camp- haven't been to a Gathering in a while." She nodded to Shadeheart. "Shadeheart, right? Of WindClan? I'm Morningfur." She jerked her heard to Lichenpaw. "This is my apprentice, Lichenpaw. We're RiverClan."

Shadeheart smiled. "Nice to meet you," she meowed.

Mallowroot skulked up to the other cats gathering. He gave a out a yawn as he looked at Morningfur and smiled. "Hey!" he mewed. "It's been awhile." He looked at the small cat next to her. "And, is this your apprentice?" he asked Morningfur, and also looked over to Shadeheart.
"Oh... and you're Shadeheart of WindClan, right?"

"Yes, this is my apprentice, Lichenpaw," Morningfur confirmed, nodding to Mallowroot. "It has been a while. I heard you have an apprentice of your own now, too, right?"

(Once Mink posts, that'll be everybody. If she doesn't post soon, though, we'll have to continue on without her)

Hailpaw looked around, not sure what to do or say. He just kept close to his mentor and was silent. He lowered his ears as Mallowroot greeted the others.

Morningfur looked down at Hailpaw and smiled. She then glanced up at the others, and then at the sky. "We better hurry. We don't want to miss it," she said, standing and turning around, padding into the tunnel.

Mallowroot turned to Hailpaw, giving him a smile. "You excited?" he asked his apprentice in a whisper, following Morningfur.

Hailpaw nodded. "I am... But miss what?" He asked, cocking his head to the left, following after them.
