Twisted's, and Shade's Assesment

Shadepaw was determined to hunt something. A rabbit hid behind a bush, eating some grass. Shadepaw knew that she couldn't catch rabbits well, but she still tried. Pouncing on it, she bit it's neck to kill it quickly. My first prey! She thought. She buried it under a tree. Walking off, she thought, one down, two to go.

Twistedpaw sniffed at the ground; his head shooting up when he caught the scent of a pigeon. He grinned; dropping into a couch and made his way carefully toward it. He shifted from paw to paw; careful to make sure he wasn't seen before leaping. The bird looked up to see the shadow of Twistedpaw fall over it; but it was to late once again. He quickly pinned down the bird and killed it. Picking it up gently in his mouth; he backtracked to his bush and hide it with the rabbit before going off to find his last piece of prey, a silly grin on his face.

Shadepaw sniffed the air near her. That mouse... she thought, smelling it behind a rock. The mouse just barely heard her sneaking up on it and ran off into the distance, never to be seen again. Fox dung!

Twistedpaw pulled himself though a stray bush that seemed odd against the almost dead landscape from the fire; before freezing. A small rabbit was nibbling at the grass. It looked only to be a baby rabbit; far smaller then most he had seen. He paused; shifting from paw to paw. Would he take a life of something so young if he manged to catch it? He swallowed; dropping into a couch. He might as well; he could be saving it from a much harsher death. He pulled himself forward; his tail flickering as he judged the jump before leaping. The rabbit never knew what had happen until it was limped in the apprentice's paws. With a sigh he picked up the dead rabbit; his ears suddenly flickered. He had gotten all three; hadn't he? He spun and headed back to where the other rabbit and pigeon was buried; grabbing them before heading back to their meeting place; setting them down. He paused when he noticed that Shadepaw was nowhere to be seen. Hopefully she would be finish soon.
