fukk et yolo - A giant assessment test.

Nightpaw tasted the air; a small frown on her face. Finally; she caught the scent of a toad. No...wait; two toads. She grinned; letting out a small laugh. If she could mange to catch both; she would be done with her assessment. She stalked though the marsh landscape; before finally finding her two toads sitting there in a small; shallow pond; about paw deep for her. She pressed herself to the ground as she pulled herself forward before leaping; hoping that maybe in StarClan allowed it she would catch both. She landed on one of the toads with a hiss; and quickly killed it; before snapping her head up. Haha; the other toad hadn't moved yet; it quickly turned and started to hop away in fear but with a quick leap she pinned it down and killed it; a smile on her face. Done. She picked them both up and hurried to the log where she had been hiding her prey. She manged to pick them all up before backtracking to where they would met once they caught all of the prey. As she entered the clearing and dropped her small pile on the ground; her ear flickered. She was the first one done? Nightpaw shrugged and sat down; waiting quietly for the others to finish.

Shadepaw glanced over, and spotted Nighpaw a way aways sit down, finished. Perking his ears, he raced away, not wanting to finish last. Nearby, he spotted a small group of three mice, probably a little family. He narrowed his eyes, not really intent on being quick but more quiet so he wouldn't miss this. Crouching, he launched himself forward quickly so he wouldn't waste time. But he wasn't used to mice, as they are not often found in Shadowclan territory. They could sense paw-steps easier than rats, and the mother quickly grabbed both her babies and ran, though one fell out of her grasp and was basically doomed right then as Shadepaw made quick work of killing it.

Ic: Not wanting to waste any time, he buried the mouse quickly and kept going, not stopping until he caught the trail of a frog. As soon as he spotted it, it swallowed a nearby fly right from the air, in which the tom instantly dashed out without much thinking, as he figured this distraction would help. But of course he skidded in the mud, failing once again.
