Talk of the Three

Larchpaw nodded. Putting her rabbit under the roots of a nearby tree, she scented 2 tiny, scrawny mice. Well, food was food. Besides, it was leafbare. Might as well get what you can. She noticed that they were scuffling by each other, and she knew that it was rare to see mice so close to each other in this type of weather.

Silently creeping, she lunged for the mice, and she managed to land her claws far enough that she could get a grip on the mice. She purred with delight when she had gotten one of them, but the other quickly fled. Killing the one she had got, she put it with her rabbit and sat by her prey. She watched for her father so that when he was done, she could go with him. While she thought no one was looking, she tore off a small piece of her mouse and quickly gulped it down. It was still warm. Yum!

Ooc: I'm going to wait for Echo to post, so she's not left behind. But would you guys mind if I sorta turned it into Hunting Training...After everyone calms down of course? It'll be good to catch up on that x3

Flamestar looked around for Silentpaw. He was feeling a bit better, and though he couldn't see where Larchpaw had run off to hunt, he could smell her nearby. She had seemed a bit better too. Perhaps they could do a bit of training while they were out here -- to get their minds off things. "Larchpaw? Silentpaw?" He called.

Silentpaw thought, 'I wonder why I just want to be alone? Maybe because I really need to be alone...' Pricking her ears, she heard her father call, but she was content on catching the chirping birds up on the trees. Climbing up, she got into position and pounced on the two birds. She caught the one closest to her, but nearly lost her balance catching the second. Jumping down the tree, she held the bird she caught tight before heading to Flamestar.

The member 'Tias (Echo)' has done the following action : Dices roll

Grabbing her catch, Larchpaw ran to her father, putting them nearby.

Flamestar let out a small purr as he saw their catches. "Aren't you good at hunting!" He meowed happily. "Speaking of which, perhaps you could become better hunters with a bit of training? It might also help get our minds off things as well as catch you up closer to being a Warrior." He explained, sniffing the air.

Larchpaw nodded. "Sounds good to me!" she mewed. Happily watching the scenery.

"Alright. Keep quiet and focused. All of your senses should be alert, and careful when choosing where you put your paws. You need to move quickly and silently, as we don't want the prey to hear us, do we?" He meowed, quieting more and putting on an example.

Larchpaw nodded. "I'll try..." she said. Smelling mouse. Perfect. A tiny one... Well, it was better then nothing. She copied what her father did, stalking the small mouse nearby. She pounced quickly when it was close enough.

Grumbling, Larchpaw tried again as the mouse only sprinted far, but she still had her luck. Pouncing again, she hoped to land a claw on it.
