le Cedar y Night's Border Patrol [anyone can join]

"Indeed." Sagestar intervened, bending down and sniffing his small catch. "It was messy, but you still 'caught it on your first try. Bury it a little ways further from Carrionplace. We can visit the WindClan border next." He meowed and started to pad off.

Cedarpaw did so, burying his catch. He then took a stick and placed it over the pile, before following the Shadowclan leader.

Nightpaw quickly followed, her eyes bright with curiousity. She kept pace with Cedarpaw her steps matching his.

"Keep your senses sharp." Sagestar called behind him, breaking in a run. "We'll reach the Thunderpath soon. Don't be frog-brained and run out unto it." He flicked his tail and recognized the area, they were close. It wasn't too far of a run from where they were at the pace they were going. "You might be able to scent WindClan's moor."

Nightpaw sented the air, a strong sent of heather and stench of the thunderpath overwhelmed her scenes. She flickered her ears for sounds of monsters. Sure enough, she did hear them...but felt them. The vibration of the monsters seemed faint at first, but the roaring and shaking became louder and stronger as they approached.

See the moor? Sagestar sure had a sense of humor. Still, he was careful about the blacktop, afraid it would suddenly appear under his feet. Monsters were terrifying.

Sagestar slowed down cautiously and signaled for them to do the same. Quietly, he slicked out of the weeds and appeared right on the side of the Thunderpath. Thankfully, the monsters seemed to always be less active in the middle of the night, but you never knew for sure when one would start to approach.
He placed his paws on the hard, unnatural earth, it being uncomfortable under his paws. "Luckily, the breeze is flowing this way. The scent of heather and rabbits - That's WindClan." He meowed and flicked his ears. "Come here, you two, I want you to both see Fourtrees."

Nightpaw curled her lip at the smell of monsters. Why do they have to smell so bad? She wondered with disgust. Suddenly her ears perked up. Fourtrees? She brightend up. Nightpaw glanced at Sagestar. "Are we going to the gathering this full moon?"

Cedarpaw arrived at the blacktop. How scary looking! Monsters had weird paths. The road felt sticky and uncomfortable, but he nevertheless trailed Sagestar less than a tail length behind. "Fooooourtrees. Foooooooourtreees!" he sang.

Nightpaw folded her ears back as his singing clawed at them. "Can you please stop?" She manged to say, Though her voice was croaky.

Sagestar tried to stop his whiskers from twitching in amusement at the two apprentices. "Yes. It's important that you go and observe the other clans on a night of peace. You remember the other four, don't you?" he questioned, then went on, "You two and the other apprentices as well." For a few moments the tom got on his toes and pointing with one paw. "Those over there."
Just a little ways across the thunderpath and on the edge of ThunderClan's forest, four large trees easily towered about the others, surrounding a circular clearing. It'd take their eyes a bit to adjust to the dark, but soon they'd see.
"Follow me once you've gotten a good look." The tom meowed and padded off casually along the side of the Thunderpath, stepping beside the ThunderClan border.

Nightpaw Dashed around trying to see every thing she could,she even sniffed the borders. That is what ThunderClan smells like! The young apprentice finished sniffing around, and meet up by her leader.

"Thankfully, ThunderClan doesn't come out this time of night." Sagestar meowed as he walked, adding on the end a bit of amusement."The flea-bags are afraid of the dark... But remember their scent - you never know when they might try something on our land." He paused a moment, "Once we reach the end of the border, you'll catch on to SkyClan's markers as well. They're different from ThunderClan, but it's hard to tell the difference at first." They were both, what's the word... woodsy? The only different being was that ThunderClan stayed in the undergrowth while SkyClan roam high in the branches.
"The only clan you won't get to see really is RiverClan. They lay clear on the other side of Fourtrees."

Nightpaw frowned. She had wanted to smell fish for the first time. But they where up wind from RiverClan, so no smell of them.

"Everyone should be afraid of the dark while Shadowclan is around." whispered Cedarpaw, just in case a night patrol was close by. As for Riverclan, he did not have much of a problem with them. Riverclan and Shadowclan always got along.
