sick with greencough

blackkit layed in the medicine cat den she had missed her brother and sister turn into apprentices and was still sick with what ever it was that butterflystar and willowstream had said it was.

Icepaw padded quietly into the medicine den. "Blackkit? Are you awake?" He whispered quietly. "I've come to see you,"

"yea, What are you doing in here?" she asked becoming a little happier Finally a visitor she thought to herself

Icepaw padded in slowly, keeping his distance. "I wanted to make sure you're okay. How are you feeling?" He mewed gently, sitting down.

"ok," she said then a small bit of coughing came over her

Shiningpaw walked in to the nursery. the smell of sickness filled her nose. She cringed at the stench.

"hey shinningpaw!" blackkit said getting over her coughing fit.

"hey Blackkit!" She mewed trying to sound cheerful. Shiningpaw licked her sister

Icepaw cringed. "Shiningpaw, don't do that. She's sick, and it would be bad if you both got stuck in here sick." He mewed carefully.

"oh don't worry icepaw, it's just a cough" she said

"i don't care Icepaw!" Shelayed next to her sister and continued to lick her.

"I don't need grooming" she laughed moving away slightly

Runningfoot heard voices coming from medicine den. Walking in from the camp the new deputy looked around. Shiningpaw and Icepaw were sitting with their sister. Blackkit had been having coughing fits all the time. "Shiningpaw, you shouldn't be grooming her. You might catch what she has aswell." Runningfoot looked at her siblings. She of course was from a much older litter of which she was the only one to survive. The gray she-cat sat and her tail settled over her paws.

Bluekit peered over his nest. "Why is she sick?" the tom asked.

Shiningpaw lifted her head to Runningfoot. tears lined her eyes. "will she make it?" she wispered
