in the service of death

Emberkit padded silently up behind a white kit he saw sitting by a pool in dream territory. 'uhn...' he thought. he never liked killing white kits for death, they reminded him of why he was in service of death; he was Snow's brother, and Snow had a debt to pay for death. but Ember had gone in to service of death in her place.

OOC: I know I'm hardly on, but can we not have one of those incidents where I post ,like, twice and everyone else posts so much that it ends up with 26 pages!?

Tigerclaw padded up to him, her eyes aglow. "The kit is not yours to take." she hissed. The kit heard her and scrambled off.

"life is empty. when we take a life, we aren't taking anything of worth." Ember replied, almost mechanically
