Olivekit teetered along the edge of the gorge. He wondered why he wasn't an apprentice yet! Why, he was old and perfectly capable of taking on the same duties as other kits. He was wandering out of camp more and more due to this fact. He narrowed his eyes and danced along the edge of the gorge; the very edge. Rocks showered from the jagged ridge. Olivekit shivered in fear, before he suddenly lost his footing.

Gasping before he fell, the tomcat was just a blaze of dark orange before vanishing into the rapids at the bottom, swept away sadly.
