A day of Kits

Butterflywing woke up in the nursery surprised because it wasnt just her it was a few other little ones next to her. she purred as she slowly reconized them as hers

Icekit grumbled and stretched, stumbling up onto his four legs for the first time. His dark amber eyes sprung open and he looked over his shoulder at Butterflywing.

"good morning Icekit" she said and licked his soft head.

Icekit flicked his ears in acknowledgement. "Good morning mama," He mewed happily.

Ravenkits head peeked from a nearby nest. She stared at Butterflywing and her kittens.

butterflywing turned her head and saw ravenkit "you can join the bundle" she laughed as she had enough room for one more.

Ravenikit giggled softly and padded towards them. She sniffed icekit. "What're their names?"

"Icekit, Icekit, blackkit, and shinningkit" she said and licked ravenkits head.

Icekit purred in greeting. "Hi there. I'm Icekit. Who are you?"

"Two Icekits?" Ravenkit asked, giggling, "How are you going to tell them apart?"

"ones a boy" she said nodding to the one that was awake "and the others a girl" she said nodding to the one that was asleep

"Plus, we don't look the same, and we'll have different warrior names. I'm the stronger one!" He purred in laughter. "And she's, you know, the girl one. Not much I know to say besides that yet."

"OH!" Ravenkit said, "I'm stupid."

butterflywing purred and moved a little to make room.

blackkit sneezed and woke up her eyes still showing how tired she was as she yawned.

"No your not! In the nursery, I don't think anyone seems stupid!" Icekit purred, before glancing at the entrance. A butterfly perched at the entrance. He ran forward swatting at it, watching it fly up in the air and around the den. "Watch out! My first prey is coming over your head!" He looked like he was about to pounce when the butterfly landed on Ravenkit's nose...
