Playing in the Snow

"Oh, oh. It's...it's nothing." she knew the apprentice wouldnt believe her, so she said "Its just, ive always wanted kits, but i dont even have a mate. But dont worry, its not your problem." she meowed. She licked Sarrowpaw's head and nugged her over to Nettlekit. "I believe you promised Nettlekit a game." she purred.

Nettlekit raised her haunches. "I don't know what too play.." She sighed, still smiling widely.

Sarrowpaw narrowed her eyes. "I know your lying to me. When I'm done playing with Nettlekit, we'll finish this." She meowed and padded back to Nettlekit.

BIC: Morningpaw giggled again when the snow landed on her, "It's cold." She said. "Hi Bluefur!" She exclaimed when she saw her mentor. "Six moons old.." She repeated back, trying to get it to stick in her head. Morningpaw then turned to Sarrowpaw, smiling back. "Hi, and yes, I do remember you. Who's your mentor?" (X3) She meowed back.

"Ebonyroot" Sarrowpaw replied, flicking her ears. "Why don't you chase my tail, and practice your hunting and battle training with it, so you know a little before your an apprentice?" Sarrowpaw suggested to Nettlekit, flicking her fluffy black tail over Nettlekit's nose.

Nettlekit shrugged and lifted her haunches higher, creeping ever so closer to her tail until she could almost taste it, She punched, gripping the furry thing in her small paws, mewing delightfully.

Bluefur chuckled. "Good thinking, Sarrowpaw." she meowed. "And if you want to finish the conversation, we'll finish it over a little fresh-kill, sound good?" she asked Sarrowpaw.

Sarrowpaw twitched her tail from under Nettlekit's paws, and nodded towards Bluefur. She smiled down at Nettlekit. "Why don't you go rest now?" She suggested, not letting the kit answer, and padded over to the fresh kill pile, waiting for Bluefur.

Ashkit poked his head out of the fresh-kill pile. He had been looking for a small mouse and had fallen into the mess of dead animals. "Ewwy." he spat. "This mouse has gunk on it!" Ashkit was a very picky eater.

Sarrowpaw looked at the small gray shape. He has potential... she thought, grabbing his scruff and pulling him out. "Did it have maggots on it, Ashkit?" Sarrowpaw quizzed, looking at him with round green eyes.

Bluefur padded over and found a newly killed mouse. "Here, Ashkit. Have this one instead." she meowed. She chose a rabbit and padded over to a sunny spot and lay down, eating the rabbit hungrilly.

Nettlekit pouted severly, saddened at being alone. She sat down, outside the nursery, snow cooling her tail as it dropped. "I didn't want to play with her anyways." The kit explained, under her breath.

Bluefur looked at the kit, making her heart-broken. She padded over and meowed, "Want to play, Nettlekit?" she asked.

Nettlekit pretend not to be intrested, but her in actuality, her heart fluttered. "What did you have in mind?" The she-kitten said, looking at Bluefur with young but intellegent minty green eyes.

Bluefur purred. "How about you be Nettlestar and I'm a big badger attacking the camp!"
