Fading.... (ALL JOIN- Bloo's last RP!)

Bluestar looked over herself carefully, noting her blue grey fur, her delicate paws, her black flecks. But it seemed different, distant. It was still there alright, but it seemed to be...fading. Shock entered the beautiful she-cats sky blue eyes for a moment, then made way for understanding, and courage. She would be at peace for ever, no longer having to suffer the pain as she watched her friends and former clanmates fight or starve.
The branches over head rustled, as a warm breeze blew through them. The leaves trembled, ever so softly. Bluestar let her eyes drift close, and her thoughts wander. She would be forever safe, calm, and at peace.
Her blue eyes widened again, round as pools, as she made her last journey around the perfect territory and home she had lived in for past seasons. White paws quick, she bounded up the stones and hill that lined the hollow she had been sitting in. The night wind whistled through her fur as she ran, her mouth agape into a slight smile.
Bluestar felt peace overwhelm her.
She was home.

Pinestar, more childish than the other RiverClan leader, watched her. Wind ruffled the she-cat's jet black fur as she stared at her friend with bright, concerned blue eyes. Laying her ears back, she furrowed her brow(?). "Bluestar?" the she-cat called, watching. She didn't know if she wanted to approach, though she wanted to ever so much. She sat down, tilting her head, eyes flickering.

The slight breeze picked up, then faded back to its original gentleness. From the trees stepped a younger she-cat, her fur, too, was grey, but with white patches. Her blue eyes shone with happiness, yet were filled with sorrow at the same time. She smiled softly at the other leader in front of her.
"Bluestar," she mewed with a quiet strength.

Why must everything be so difficult? Moonsage sighed, and settled a few paces away from the she-cats. He didn't know either personally, but he did know them; and they were two he, while living, had considered friends. His thick, fluffy fur protected him from the gentle breeze, but it did not halt it in making his locks sway. Sitting silently for a while, he said, "Rainstar. Bluestar."

"Rainstar." Bluestar greeted, in a friendly yet soft voice. "I am fading..and I will be gone soon. Too soon. I will miss you greatly." Her sky blue eyes grew sad, resting on the leader's pale eyes. She ducked her head down, unable to keep her gaze. "I don't know how to cope." She mumured, her melodic voice quiet and scared. Bluestar's thoughts were interrupted as she picked up a new scent on the breeze, Moonsage.
"Friend.." She purred, although sadness still shone in her eyes as she touched noses with the black tom.

OOC: Awe. Everyone be bringing back their old charries. So, just for Bloo, I will be Brightfire :D

IC: Brightfire nodded her head at the other cats. "Hello Bluestar, Rainstar, and Moonsage." she smiled at them. Her orange and brown stripes rippled in the breeze. Brightfire's eyes twinkled at the news of Bluestar's fading. She had known the warrior when she was an apprentice, running across boundaries.

Pinestar finally approached, her scent blowing towards them. She tilted her head in confusion. "Bluestar? Where are you going? What's wrong?" Questions flooded out of her mouth. She definitely wasn't the wisest of any of them. She was most certainly the youngest. She blinked. "I thought we were going to go hunting?"

Ebonyroot padded around the group of the other cats, her eyes filled with sadness as she watched sadly. She couldn't explain what was going on exactly, but she understood perfectly, and while she hadn't known Bluestar all that well she felt touched all the same.

Even though they knew each other only in passing, maybe talking once or twice, Moonsage considered the she-cat a friend, and was glad to see that she returned the honor. He only considered very few cats his friends, and behold, another one soon came. "Brightfire, Pinestar, Ebonyroot," He said, recognizing them, before turning back to Bluestar. "I'm . . sorry," He managed.

Rainstar glanced up as first Moonsage then Brightfire approached. When Bluestar spoke, the Windclan leader's eyes welled up with a deep sadness. She tucked her tail in close to her body, covering her paws, and glanced downward. Though she had not known that Riverclan leader well, she had seemed like a strong, gentle, and well-loved cat. Fading from Starclan was a sad thing, but Bluestar would be happy.

The familiar scent of long gone friends was caught by Sleepystar in his peaceful dream state. He rushed towards them as fast as he could, skidding to a halt when he saw Bluestar. She seemed distant, transparent almost. He kept his silence, trying to figure out these answers for himself.

Bluestar's eyes rested on Pinestar. Her friend, her sister, her successor. She didn't know what to say. However she said it, hearts would be broken.
"Pinestar...I am fading. I have been in StarClan for seasons, and even we must move on."

Pinestar finally padded right up to the RiverClan leader. She seemed not as close as she usually was. It was like as if she weren't truly there anymore. "...?" Everyone around her. They were all looking mournful. "What's wrong?" she repeated, not fully understanding. She leaned in to press her muzzle into the leader's cheek, though she almost fell forward. Staggering backwards, she stared at her leader with wide eyes. When she heard Bluestar's voice come hesitantly, it almost brought her to tears. "B- But Bluestar! You can't go now! You have much more to teach me!"

Bluestar looked at her paws. "Pinestar, you are so wise. I have taught you all I know. Ever since you were a small kit I knew, one day, you would be leader..." She faltered, her ears flat.

Pinestar shifted uneasily. "B- But! You told me that you'd never leave!" Finally, she softened her eyes and smiled. "You're so funny! I love it when you kid around!"
