Hanging Around Camp

Purplepaw walked around camp looking for Morningpaw.

Morningpaw spotted Purplepaw at the other side of the camp. She scampered across to her. "Hi!!!" She said excitedly.

"Hey , I haven't seen you in a while. How are you?" She meowed.

"Ditto," She said. "I'm doing good. How about you?"

"I'm doing fine." She meowed.

"That's good," she said in response.

Sarrowkit darted out of the nursery and ran into Morningpaw accidentally, of course, then sat down, green eyes sparkling. "What's it like, being apprentices?" She asked, staring up at them with questioning eyes.

Snowkit noticed that Sarrowkit was talking to Morningpaw so she went to join her. Snowkit went over to Sarrowkit and she heard her ask Morningpaw what it was like being an apprentice so she joined in,"yea what is it like being an apprentice?" she repeated.

Morningpaw stumbled a bit, when Sarrowkit ran into her by accident, but quickly regained her posture. "It's fun, I guess. You get to do a lot of fun stuff with your mentor. You learn battle moves and how to hunt." She said, starting to wonder where Bluefur was.

Snowkit had seen a fat squirrel on the fresh kill pile a few days ago that a question popped in her mind,"have you ever caught a fat peice of prey before?"Snowkit asked excitedly.

"Why yes, I have." She said, smiling at the kit. "It was a mouse."

Snowkit was so interested in the it that she wanted to hear a story,"Can you tell us a story,pleaase?"Snowkit asked excitedly.

Purplepaw looked over at Morningpaw waiting for a story.

Morningpaw stared back at Purplepaw. She turned back to look at the kit, "What kind of story?" She asked.

Snowkit stopped and thought"can you tell us a story of when you were first in battle"Snowkit said.
