Day 2- Hoping to Forget

Sootshadow padded out of the Raven's den, and stretched. It was early dawn and she felt like going for a hunt. She tasted the air, but found nothing at the moment. She walked around trying to find something.

Raven awoke and followed her out. She noticed the cat was trying to hunt. She laughed "Ohh no, my friend." she giggled, stopping her in her tracks "You won't find any prey out herel, the twolegs chase them off." she flicked her tail to the playground of twoleg kits, running and screeming. She pushed Sootshadow in the other direction "I'll show you the food."

It almost seemed like a sweet drop went down her face. "Umm.. Okay?" She asked in a weird way.

Flicking her tail she walked out of the park and onto the sidethunderpath. Finally they started to pass large twoleg nests that smelled lovly. All kinds of smells, it was amazing. They rounded a corner and found themself in a gary alley. To the right was a large metal box, filled to the rim with old meat and other foods. Hopping into it Raven picked out two large hunks of meat. "You see?" she said "They throw it out all the time, and it just sits here." she took a large bite of her meat "And its delisious!"

Flame leaped out of a box next to eat."Hi!" he meowed, holding a mouse.

She looked disgusted, "Thanks but no, I prefer my meat fresh." She padded out of the ally and out to a group of trees where she did find a thrush. She stalked it the sprang. The bird flew away with a loud chirp.

Raven shook her head "No point in that guys." she mewed in disapproveal. "All the food we would want, is right here." she took another bite of the meat.

"That's where two-legs put their garbage." he warned.He lunged for a bird.

Like he normally did, the tom leapt up to slash it wing.
