Moonmist sat at the edge of the pool and looked down at her reflection, feeling quite lonely. She hadn't found her mother, brother, or had seen sister dead or alive. Her oldest sister, Star, had been reborn. She'd lived the life of a Medicine Cat and so had never taken a mate or kits. It had been a small while since she'd visited her friends, spending some time checking in on her Clan and the newer cats to see how they were faring in the world. She sighed, wrapping her tail around her paws. I feel so...alone sometimes. I've always been like this, even when I was alive. I wonder what I'm missing...I probably just miss my family. I should stop worrying.

Lynxpaw padded into the clearing,and lay down across from Moonmist.She flicked her tail back and forth,and stared staring into the water.She sighed.What a short,miserable life she had lived.
