Brother bonding

Envypaw had been dragged in some kind of hunting trip with his older brother, Snakebite. Who talked him into this again? He followed behind Snakebite with a grim look on his face

"Lighten up Envypaw",he said light-heartedly. The tom had to go hunting for the fresh-kill pile was low. He didn't want to leave him alone with Sootshadow.

Envypaw sighed "I wish I had a friend" he murrmered. He wanted someone to talk to, and He hated having to talk to Snakebite. He looked up at Snakebite, he really just wished his brother was like him.

Snakebite stopped short as he heard that name, he then turned away. "Do..Not..call..me..that",he said with anger. He knew of the tom yet anger filled his eyes every time he heard of him. he sighed," You're my brother but i won't always be here to protect you, envypaw.

Envypaw narrowed his eyes "I don't need protection, I need a brother." He growled. He smirked "Your mate killed our mother, you know." He mewed "You really are like me if that dosnt make you sad." He gritten his teeth.

Snakebite gritted his theeth,"I have no feelings for that she-cat you call out mother. If she really wanted to be our mother she should have stayed with us".

Envypaw let out a breath of amusment "I guess you wouldn't care about Sootshadows family either, hmm?" he asked deveiously.

Snakebite whipped around behind him and scowled,"You wouldn't dare mess with them". He then crouched into position as he pounced on a bird in a low branch of a tree. He cleanly killed it and purred.

Snakebite batted the apprentices head,"Get those foolish thoughts of death out of your head. There is no nead for them". He started to pad forward before he turned back,"Sootshadow is my family to, And i will do anything to defend the ones I love",he said through narrowed eyes.

Envypaw chuckled "You do that." He padded around "I just can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees he mother and brother dead on the ground." He laughed.
