A quiet night...

"Mouse-dung." Ebonyroot spat, tossing her head aside. "Though, thats is really wierd..."

"Ya...what about you? Did you find out anything useful?" he asked, trying to keep the conversation going. He didn't notice that they were getting close to his camp, still trying to figure out what that cat meant about being with his mentor was good. Did that mean I was going to be attacked? Or...does that mean something else...

Ebonyroot nodded her head. "I got the approval we so needed, and a warning..." She flicked her tail, "And I think a sign... But, I'll figure it out in time.. You're home.." The medicine cat looked at him sadly, feeling breeze of WindClan carry their way.

"Hmm...well...I guess maybe we could do this again sometime? You know...before..." he meowed, not being able to finish his sentence.

"Goodbye..." he mumbled, before starting to pad into camp slowly.

Ebonyroot flattened her ears, "Icewhisker, wait..."

Icewhisker turned back to her. He looked at her with wide, curious and confused eyes.

"Yes?" he asked, confused by her stopping him.

Ebonyroot's eyes glazed over in an array of emotions. "Be careful, alright?" she meowed, "I want to see you at the gathering.."

Icewhisker smiled at her concern.

"I will." he meowed, nodding at her before he began padding back towards camp.

Ebonyroot flicked her tail and headed back to her clan, disappearing in the night.
