A quiet night...

Shortly reaching Mothermouth after his former mentor, Icewhisker let out a short, emotionless sigh.

"Ready?" he asked, looking at her.

Ebonyroot nodded softly. "As I'll ever be." She walked into the cave beside Icewhisker.

As if he had been there millions of times, Icewhisker led them through the dark cave. After what felt like a moon, the tom could see light pouring into the cave. The Moonstone. He looked at the bright stone as he padded up to it, happy he wasn't alone. He only just realized that he hadn't been happy in a while. All those days of sitting in his den bored seem to disappear. He looked over at Ebonyroot, waiting for her to press her nose to the stone first.

Ebonyroot looked over at Icewhisker and blinked slowly before laying down next to the stone. Reaching over she gently touched her nose to it, instantly feeling it's chill run through her body, followed by a deep wave of darknress. She rested her head against the ground mindlessly as her breathing became deeper and she fell into a trance-like sleep.

Icewhisker smiled, and followed her into the deep sleep he longed for.

Ebonyroot awoke in a misty field, glancing around, she couldn't smell any scents beside her own and couldn't see past the strange fog. "Hello?" she called out.

Just like his ceremony, Icewhisker woke up at the River. Instead of Twilightkit, he noticed a long haired ginger tabby with his back to the medicine cat. The strange cat was looking down sadly, so Icewhisker decided to help what looked like a tom. The strange tom looked at him with big brown eyes, like he had no idea why Icewhisker was there.

"I didn't expect to see you...well, I do...but..." he meowed, making Icewhisker look at him with a confused face.

"If you didn't expect me...then why am I here?" Icewhisker asked.

"I don't know...I'm glad to see you al- here though." he meowed, stumbling on his words a bit.

"I'm Pantherclaw. So you came to see StarClan?" Pantherclaw asked. Icewhisker nodded, letting Pantherclaw continue.

"You're here with my- I mean Ebonyroot...well, that's good..." he mumbled. The medicine cat let out a long sigh and sat down.

"You're a StarClan cat...do you know if Ebonyroot thinks of me...as more than just a friend?" he asked, hoping Pantherclaw would have a useful answer.

"Oh, well I can't tell you that. You'll have to find that out by yourself!" he laughed, before beginning to fade. Another useless answer... the medicine cat thought glumly before waking up back at the Moonstone.

Ebonyroot continued to walk through the haze before it was suddenly blown away, at least to the point where she could see past her nose.
A familiar face showed, "Jaystar.." The medicine cat paused and dipped her head respectfully. Yeah, that's right Jay, I'm stealing your cat for a dream, what are you gonna do about it? >:3 Lol sorry D:, I just needed a reason to come here. o3o
He blinked back simply in greeting.
"The badgers still face a threat on our land, and Bramblestar disappeared for a long time, he left us with WindClan. I'm afraid he's doubting himself and we need a leader now more then ever, and with Ghosthaze expecting..."
The tuxedo cat waved his tail, dismissing her words. "He has come back with the will to lead again. You have fed off of RiverClan's kindness for far too long, The clan will come together, each one of them knows what as stake and they're ready for it.. It's time to take the land back."
Ebonyroot blinked, "Thank you." With a quick nod of his head he disappeared into the surrounding air and she heard another voice by her side, that of her father. "And keep a closer eye on your apprentice.." Blackraven said sternly (Another steal! >:D) "I fear we cannot reach her here.." He disappeared as well.
The she-cat looked down at the ground. Why? Did her small apprentice not believe in StarClan? How strange... A new noise caught her attention, in the distance two shapes could be seen running and wrestling across the plain. They were laughing, she-cats, she could tell.. "Hello?" She started forward, curious as too who these two were; Though after the first step she took, the ground under her broke, the falling sensation woke her up from her dream.

She sat up quickly, catching her breath. "Icewhisker?" Ebonyroot whispered to him, was he awake yet?

"Yes Ebonyroot?" he asked, a little scared by her shaking awakening. He was still confused by this Pantherclaw cat, not understanding all of his little slips while talking. He was guessing Ebonyroot had a confusing dream as well, due to how she woke up.

Ebonyroot sighed and shook her head, heading out of the cave.

"Okay..." he meowed as he began following her out of the cave.

"Any luck?" Ebonyroot asked as they arrived out of the Mothermouth.

"I met a cat I didn't know. He looked sad...he was also awkward...always stumbling on his words..." he meowed.

Ebonyroot flicked her tail. "That's weird.." She mused, hesitantly begging the walk back to clan territories. "Did he say anything about..." The ShadowClan cat didn't know how to finish, and she refused to call it a prophecy.

"No...he was just...making random chat with me. He also noted that I was there with you...he said it was good...I was just so confused...it was like...he knew me, but didn't know me." he meowed, shaking his head. The cat may just a be crazy cat... he thought, trying to think of explanations.
