Nightkit and Celestiakit's Punishment

Celestiakit nodded. "I know, and I appreciate it. I personally think the elders still have some strength left, though..."

The scarred cat laughed. "Oh, the do. But they've done their duties, and it's the new generation's turn to serve the Clan."

Nightkit saw the fear in his mother's eyes and nuzzled her side to comfort her.

Celestiakit shrugged. "I see your point. Come on Nightkit, let's go see what the elders want us to do."

ooc: This reminds me of a fanfiction; two kits were punished after one fell into the river.

OOC: We have no elders, so I'll rp one. xD

IC: "Kits? What about elders?" A cat peered out of the den, with once-pretty silver fur. It was an elder named Frostedfang. Deadfrost blinked respectfully to the elder. "This is Frostedfang. Frostedfang, they've come to get rid of your ticks."

Celestiakit nodded. She wasn't in the least bit disgusted. She had never seen a tick before. "How do we get rid of the ticks?"

OOC:Can I RP an Elder to? Im bored DX

Nightkit shruged and looked at Deadfrost questioningly

OOC: yeah there is a similarity. LOL I had to tape a paper towel to my wrist to keep from geting a friction burn on my mousepad XD

Celestiakit awaited an answer. "Well? How do we get rid of the ticks, Frostedfang?"

Frostedfang squinted hard at the kit. "Hasn't your mother taught you anything?" she grumbled.

Deadfrost cut in; it seemed only appropriate. He turned to the kits. "Okay. First, here's some moss for both of you." The warrior nosed two slabs of moss with each a stick poking through them. "Now listen. On these slices of moss is a foul liquid called mouse bile. Never eat it; it'll make you sick," he began. "Once you find a tick in the elder's fur, take the other end of the stick holding the bile-soaked moss, and let a drop of the bile fall on the tick. Got it?"

"Ok" mewed Nightkit picking up a stick

IC:A longhair tortishell she-cat was dozing in the back of the den."Who is it,Frostedfang?" she mewed in her old,worn voice.She looked back."Oh hello kits" she croaked "Im Half-tail".She then brought around her tail and it was halfed.

OOC: ?

IC:"Hello Half-tail" mewed Nightkit before padding over to her to check for ticks thinking Half-tail seems much nicer I'll let Celestiakit check Frostedfang for ticks"

Frostedfang stared at Celestiakit hard, as if barely able to see. "Well? What are you waiting for?"

ooc: Just got the worst news. My great grandmother died today :(
ic: "Nothing." The fawn she-kit took the stick in her mouth and padded into the elder's den.
