SC PLOT:Badgers Attack (EVERYONE JOIN!)

Limestone was sleeping in the warriors den. He was near the front, and his own twitching ears woke him. What was that? he asked himself, cautiously peering out into the open. A single bush rustled, but so far, nothing. Limestone stepped out to investigate such bush, and jumped as a beast lunged out. He dodged it, and screeched the beast's name. "BADGER!"

Bramblestar dove out of his den, looking around for Limestone, paralyzed for a second, he ran over to Limestone's side, ready to help.

Suddenly, though, more bushes rustled. Soon, the two were surrounded by badgers. Limestone looked around in fear, wondering when the others would come.

OOC: I just joined SC, for all of those who are confused as to why im here :P

IC: Silverpaw leaped from the apprentice's den, shocked to smell several badgers. She unsheathed her claws and bared her teeth, prepared to start clawing fur but waiting for the word.

Shadowsong was nice and asleep with her remaining kits in the nursery until she heard some of the commotion outside. Quickly, she blinked the sleep out of her eyes and darted out of the nursery to run into a few of the many badgers invading the camp. "Where did they come from?!" She yowled, unsheathing her claws to protect her kits.

Limepaw hissed, jumping at a badger. His teeth sunk into it's scruff, and he scratched frantically, but it threw him off, scratching his right eye. He yowled, landing with a Thump! onto the ground.

Ebonyroot sprang out of her den and to Shadowsong's side. "Behind you!" she yowled and rammed into the side of a second large black and white creature whos claws were raised at the queen.

Limestone got up, his right eye shut in pain. "Do you think we can hold them off!?" he asked his leader, growling at the approaching badgers.

"We can do nothing but try!" He replied back, although he knew that his clan was in trouble. He leapt for a badger that was racing towards Limestone, and bit into its neck, only to be flung around like a leaf in autumn.

Shadowsong turned and gave Ebonyroot a relieved glance. "Thanks," She mewed before jumping on a badger that was in front of her, digging her claws into its back and biting it on the back of the neck. But just like Bramblestar, it quickly recovered and threw her onto the ground.

Ghosthaze had just come from hunting. She dropped the mouse she had in her teeth and jumped into the action. She was beside Limestone in a minute.

"Don't mention it." The medicine cat nodded and looked at the badger before her, now focused on her. With the fire of a warrior in her eyes she unsheathed her claws and pounced in front of the creature, trying to scare it back with quick slashes to it's body, however it threw it's self back forward and easily swatted her away with claws to her face and shoulder, leaving clear wounds in it's place. If either of the badgers facing Shadowsong or herself got any closer, then might have to run the kits of the nursery.

Bramblestar gulped, he was completely speechless. He knew what would happen next, either they flee, or the die fighting, he may have eight lives, but that wouldn't matter here. But he was determined, just like the stubborn cat he was, although he matured more when he became leader. But the fire was back in him, he ran back to another badger, in no time he dodged its swipes, and he slashed its face, bit its neck, and ripped down its stomach with his hind claws. He didn't stop there, once the badger fell, he scratched it more, and bit it hard in the spine, either killing or paralyzing it, although it could just be a severe injury, he breathed heavily, but took no time to waste as he ran to help out a clan mate. Little did he know there were more badgers coming..

Limestone smiled at Ghosthaze, and let out a battle cry, scratching open a badger's stomach with a slide. He scratched another's face. His eye, though, was still injured, and may have been permanent. He couldn't see as well as the others.

Ghosthaze looked at Limestone as he attacked but she didn't say anything. She sighed and pounced at the badger. She'd talk to him later, if they even survived this fight. Her claws dug into the badger's face. Ghosthaze backed off.
