Elmstorm
They say before you start a war
Elmstorm was restless, pacing around the camp. As much as he wanted to be out in the territory right now, there were no patrols he was able to join. None that he had been allowed to join, anyway. Cindersky had wanted him to see Rowansong, but even that he was hesitating on. He should be out there, looking for his parents.
His gaze cast over the elder's den, before Elmstorm finally gave a relenting sigh. He shouldn't be so against seeing the tom in there. They were family, after all. And any other time, Elmstorm would have no problem seeing his uncle. They'd never really spoken, but he had no problem with the elder. What he had a problem with was the absence of the two most important family members he had in this Clan!
Still, he eventually made his way to the den, hoping to keep the impatience out of his voice as he spoke.
"Rowansong? I thought I'd check up on you, see if you needed anything." He left out the part where it wasn't his thinking at all, rather the deputy's. And he understood where Cindersky was coming from, as much as he hated it. The deputy was looking out for him.
It was just that it was simultaneously driving him insane.
