We are all wishing Reap the very best as they take a break from the site.
As far as windclan goes. I wanted to create this announcement for a couple of reasons.
One reason is to give a base timeline of Tiger's disappearance and such. I think it is fair to say that search parties were made and never found him.

I will be returning to the monthly activities that I had started my deputyship off with. Life had gotten busy and the last months I had not done that but I want to start them back up again. Additionally I want to have more open hunts and topics that are open to encourage clan wide interactions. Finally, Rapid's leadership will be involving the medicine cats quite a bit so keep an eye out for that ;)
I also wanted to take a bit to explain more about Rapid -
Real life has been busy for a lot of us I think and I have not gotten as many topics with her and her clanmates as I would have liked, But in character I want your characters to know who she is since our characters are in the rp interacting day to day and would know each other much better. I also wanted to make this section since I know that some would say swift and rapid are very similar, and to be fair, they did start off that way. So I wanted to kind of share what Rapid is like, how she has differences from swift and so on - Mostly this section is because people have asked me about her and what she is like, and while I am always 100% eager to do topics with everyone so you can meet her directly too, I wanted to do this so that people can feel they know her since our cats do live in like the same area and would have learned about each other even if just through ooc interaction type things.
So who is Rapid?When I first made her in full honesty she was kind of swiftheart but just in windclan. In that she was very sweet, extraverted, kind and such. As I played Rapid more and more I developed unique things for her and moved her more fully into her own character. It's not really a secret that I like playing sweet characters so she is still sweet yes, but there are now key differences between her and Swift.
Rapid is much more confident in herself as opposed to Swift. Swift doesn't like to take the lead of things. Rapidfire is much more hardheaded at times and will follow what she believes to be correct even if that means a confrontation whereas swift would be more inclined to want to make all parties happy. I think as Rapid got older as well her extraverted amount did drop some.
More about Rapid's family life:Rapid is happily mates with Molehill. Rapid's parents are both dead her siblings are also all dead.
She has 3 kits still alive.

Yes, that is correct our mca is the leader's adoptive daughter so that is kinda cool! Creamlily was (is?) her daughter but copper is on break (I do not remember the status of cream but for now she is gone)
More about Rapid's believes
Rapidfire is a semi-strong believer in starclan. She will be very inclusive of starclan-type references in ceremonies - "let our ancestors look upon this apprentice as they receive their new name" things like that for example - the moonstone is going to be important to her in that apprentices go to that and all.
More about her personality:So yeah, she is kind and all but at the same time is focused and sharp on others getting their work done, I think a lot of her drive comes from when she was younger with all her siblings they were always very driven and very always competing with her whether she liked it or not.
Plans- So for the new deputy, Holly has agreed to set me up with the templating for the new way that shadowclan is also proceeding with their deputy. I like this new way, it allows me to see like who all is interested and such. I will say currently I do NOT have a pre-planned deputy already picked so encouragement to try out for the sign new sign up method thingy. I guess my only other note around that is keep in mind I can only pick one deputy, I will read all applications and consider everyone a fair shot, but please don't be upset if it is someone else. I will do my absolute best in my picking.
- In the chat, there was discussion and agreement that I will start up a topic of searching for Tigerstar. This is going to be an open patrol for apprentices and up (sorry kits). For this topic, as its creator I will be disabling predators so that the focus is more so kept on the topic at paw so to speak.
- I will be updating in much more detail a listing of Rapidfire's rules including her stances on forbidden love, code breaking and so on. That will be in a different topic to keep things neater.
Random Thoughts- Please never hesitate to give me a ping for any reason, I want to make windclan a fun place to rp and be active with topics and ideas.
- If you have ideas for things let me know the answer will probably be yes.
ClosingI am excited to get to keep role playing with all of you, I can't wait to see what lies ahead for our characters and clan. I am going to be much more proactive in making topics for 1-1s as well as open general topics
