Hemlockfox"Act like I don't need your love and you call my bluff" -T4 Hybrid MC-

Hemlockfox only distantly remembered being helped back to the camp after the gathering, but once on the familiar soil of the camp, he got right to work tending to cats. The gathering had been complete and utter chaos. The wolves fell, before long, but they'd done a lot of damage in the short time they'd been in the hollow of Fourtrees. Cats were dead. How many, exactly, he still wasn't sure, but it could have been a lot worse. Thankfully, none of the losses came from WindClan, but given the severity of some cats' wounds, he couldn't be certain everyone would make it through the next few days.
His own health was of little concern in the face of the many wounded cats waiting in the clearing for treatment. A medicine cat apprentice would've made all the difference right now. Much of his attention had been taken up by Ryepaw, who's wounds were gruesome, to say the least. Now that he'd done all he could for the young tom, however, it was time to turn his attention towards his other clanmates. His own wounds he'd dressed in a thin layer of already blood-soaked cobwebs, but he didn't have time to change them much less prepare a poultice for himself. He'd survive.
Padding gingerly into the clearing, the seal point tom looked out over the gathered cats - injured ones and their fretful families - and frowned. He couldn't take care of everyone all on his own. At this rate, cats would bleed out or get infected before he'd be able to get to them. Limbs feeling numb, Hemlockfox approached the first cat he could think of - the one he'd been wanting to talk to. It would be hard, but it'd be the perfect time to test her mental constitution. If she'd be able to handle this environment.
"Weevilpaw." His voice was stoney, serious. "I need you to take all of the cobwebs from my den and help the cats with lesser injuries. I'm going to take care of the worst injuries first, but I need you to make sure nobody loses too much blood." His ear twitched uncertainly as he looked down at her. She was untrained, but if he'd seen the signs right, there was nothing to worry about. "I trust you can handle it." Then, he dismissed her with a flick of his tail and turned to survey the damage. Cats were sprawled out all around him, eyes glittering with pain. A fierce stab of agony lanced through his body as he stood there and Hemlockfox grimaced. Now wasn't the time.
"WindClan!" He yowled, voice rising into the air, "Those of you with the worst injuries will be treated first. Come to me so I can examine you. Anyone else will be seen by Weevilpaw. She will be helping me." He'd hardly waited to see if she was even okay with helping, but it was more of a demand than an offer anyway. Regardless of her future as a warrior or a medicine cat, it was her duty to help her clan in times of need.

What a disaster of a Gathering. Larchbreeze had been so full of adrenaline and worry and anger that he hadn't quite had time yet to feel the pain of his injury, but the long walk from Fourtrees back to WindClan camp had allowed the shock to dissipate and the discomfort to set in. The cold leaf-bare breeze brushing against his open wound didn't help, and the repetitive movement of walking made the torn muscle ache. He hadn't thought he'd gotten hurt that badly, all things considered; he'd only been hit once, and only by a claw instead of being bitten by those enormous, terrifying jaws. So when he finally stumbled into camp and heard Hemlockfox calling out for those with the worst injuries, he didn't really want to come forward. The stern medicine cat would probably scoff at him and send him away. But... he couldn't deny that the wound was really, really starting to hurt, and he didn't see anyone else immediately nearby who'd been stupid enough to get hit. So he reluctantly walked forward to Hemlockfox and Weevilpaw. "Mine isn't that bad, so I'm willing to wait," he said, keeping his voice light despite the edge of exhaustion creeping into his tone. He'd been so stressed on Nectarflower's behalf... and now he felt too awkward after her protection to even look at her. Golden eyes looked at the medicine cat's bristling fur and he silently prayed that his presence wouldn't be taken as an inconvenience. "Just a slice on the shoulder. Nothing serious."

Weevilpaw Apprentice | Windclan | She/Her
Weevilpaw had decided not to go to the gathering, as the cold weather made her shake, and she was already unsteady without the weather’s help. She waited patiently at the entrance of the den for the arrival of her clanmates; her amber eyes waiting for any movement on the horizon.
A big burly tom was the first to make it back into camp, it was the medicine cat no doubt. Weevilpaw was just about to move out of his way when he called out her name and asked for help. That’s when the scent of blood finally registered on her nose. It twitched a few times and then she bounded off towards the medicine den. She was quick to grab the cobwebs as Hemlockfox had instructed her.
When she returned from the den another clanmate was approaching with a gash across his shoulder. Weevilpaw quickly smooshed some cobwebs into his wounds. “This should, um, help the bleeding. Right, Hemlockfox?” She mewed sheepishly before slinking off and packing cobwebs into the other wounds of her clanmates. .
