Wolfstar ducked back outside of the apprentice den after rousing her latest charge. It was early, yes, but Skyclan was the farthest from the moonstone, so they did what they had to to reach it. All day to get there and another to get back home wasn't her favorite thing, as she was sure it wasn't a favorite duty for any of Skyclan's medicine cats, but it did allow her to spend time with the apprentices.
"Good morning, Mistypaw," The leader greeted the apprentice once she'd stepped out of the den, nudging the bundle of herbs toward her with an apologetic half-smile. "You have to eat these, I'm afraid. They'll give you strength to reach highstones." Once the apprentice had eaten the herbs, Wolfstar led the way from camp.

The journey had gone by quickly enough, and it was a relief to allow her paws a short rest outside the looming cavern entrance as the sun finally vanished below the horizon for the night. "Alright, stick close now... The tunnels are narrow and you won't be able to see at all once we're inside until we reach the moonstone. When we do, touch your nose to it and lay down. Our ancestors will find you, and I'll be here when you wake." She instructed Mistypaw. Turning when the apprentice had confirmed she understood, Wolfstar's paws led the way down the familiar path.
The moonstone shone cold and brilliant, lighting up the cavern the two cats eventually found themselves in. Wolfstar stepped to the side, allowing Mistypaw to step in front of her.
Perhaps, the leader thought, she ought to touch her own nose to the stone during one of these trips. Not that she expected to find anything that would answer the unease swelling in her chest.
Mistypaw didn’t feel too cramped in the tunnels, her small frame slipping easily through the narrow passages. She kept her whiskers trained on the fluffy cat ahead of her, eyes straining ahead for a glimpse of moonlight in the dark. When she reached the cavern, Mistypaw gasped at the light of the brilliant stone. Paws shaking, she stepped forward into its glow. The scattered white hairs in her tail and her glossy pelt itself caught the light and the young cat seemed to shimmer. Heart pounding, she laid down and touched her nose to the stone.

When Mistypaw opened her eyes, she found herself in a beautiful, star-filled field. A gentle breeze ruffled her fur and the long grass around her. Sitting near a collection of colorful flowers, a large brown tom waited for her. He turned his head to look at her and offered a wide, bright smile, rising to his paws. “Hey there little one!” He chirped in greeting, bounding up to her with enthusiasm. “It’s nice to meet you. I’m Honeylight!”
His big fluffy tail swished excitedly behind him as he rocked his considerable weight from paw to paw. “I was actually a Shadowclan warrior, but when I was still alive I was good friends with your mom, Lighttail. We were apprentices together!” He purrs, loud and rumbling. Golden eyes squint joyfully as he says, “But I didn’t come here just to chatter your poor ears off,” He giggles. “As of right now, you’re ready to become a warrior! How does it feel? Any questions, any feelings to share?”
“I’m… just blown away, to be honest!” Mistypaw purred. “Firstly, you’re Honeylight? My mom still talks about you! She says she had trouble sleeping when you died because she’d always heard your breathing at night. But anyway, I’m really excited to be a warrior! I guess, um, was there anything you wish somebody told you before you graduated?”
