Under the soft glow of the moon, Echosong, the youngest medicine cat of Thunderclan, stood before the entrance to the apprentice den with a bundle of herbs at his paws. It was his first Moonstone Journey since Mottlestar had passed, and he could still feel the dirt from their graves under his claws.
“It’s time, Ravenpaw,” Echosong called into the den, he had warned her earlier in the day that he would come to get her when the sun had just set, “It’s time.”
His tail swished gently as he waited for the she-cat to emerge, “Eat these, they will keep you strong and focused on our journey.” He mewed, the taste of his own herb bundle lingering on his tongue.

[OOC: I did wanna get a timeskip so I can fast track this, so I hope you don't mind if I get them all the way there!]
The apprentice was curled up in her nest when Echosong called in, tail draped across her nose, but bright blue eyes peering overtop it, and trained on the sliver of moonlight that was peeking through the mouth of the den. Quickly, but not so much as to wake up all her denmates, Ravenpaw stepped around them and joined the medicine cat in the entrance. "Hello," she whispered, smiling at him. A quick sniff inspection of the herb bundle made her wrinkle her nose, but she chomped them down in a few quick bites and followed Echosong out of camp.
She'd been looking forward to the chance to really stretch her legs, so the journey passed quickly, but Ravenpaw took in every part of the non-ThunderClan territory they passed through, trying to memorize their path. She didn't know if she would ever return here, or if the knowledge would do her any good at all, but she wanted it anyway. By the time they made it to the Mothermouth, her paws were aching, and Ravenpaw was starting to have a few doubts. She was going to get to talk to StarClan... but momma didn't like StarClan, so would they even want to come talk to her? She hoped so.
Ravenpaw followed Echosong down the dark tunnel, her eyes wide first with caution, and then with wonder as the Moonstone came into view. "Wow..." she said quietly. "That's cool." As she'd been instructed, Ravenpaw sank down on to her belly, shivering slightly as the cold stone touched her belly. She leaned forward and touched the stone.

Subject: Re: Ravenpaw's Moonstone Journey Sun 10 Mar 2024 - 21:13
Crimsonflame had not expected to be called upon for a moonstone. Least of all a moonstone for a ThunderClan cat. Wouldn't that be something for a cat that had actually lived in ThunderClan for? Yes, this was technically for his sister's kit, but he had never even met his sister. Featherfrost had been the one sent to ThunderClan to watch over his little half-siblings when they had been born. Why was he the one doing the moonstone for Comfreyheart's kit?
But at the same time, part of this experience was something he was looking forward to. Ravenpaw would not know who he was. ThunderClan had not known of his past, to this cat he would just be a Clan cat. There would be no judgement for his time as a rogue. No scorn for who his father was. Just an apprentice looking to him for the wisdom he could provide. And that thought brought a smile to his face. He couldn't help but think of Nightbird. Her father had hated him so much, but her mother had extended her paw to him, had given him a chance, and entrusted him with her own kit. And in turn, her kit had trusted him, and had become a cat whom Crimsonflame had grown to be quite fond of.
And as he appeared to Ravenpaw, he could see the same brightness in her eyes as he had in Nightbird's, the day he first touched his nose to hers. It filled his heart with a certain warmth as he looked down upon the she-cat.
"Hello. My name is Crimsonflame. I'm guessing you're going to have quite a few questions, so ask away."
