The Wasp and the Wolf [closed]

Wasppaw wasn't supposed to be alone, she knew this. But rules were just rules, and what would they really do? Scold her? Sure. She wanted to practice on her own and learn how to be independent. With a flash of orange, she ran through the territory to get her endurance training in. If she was to be the best, she needed to be able to go on forever. The scent of ShadowClan hit her nose and she slowed, knowing she neared the border. Plopping down on the ground - on her side of course - Wasppaw paused to catch her breath. Stretching slowly, she loosened up her muscles and waited for the strain to fade in the quiet trees.

Wasppaw glanced up to the border where a large brown apprentice-aged ShadowClanner spoke. Instantly, her fur bristled in annoyance and warning. The weariness in her muscles instantly washed away in the way of adrenaline and she was on her feet. She backed away a step - clearly not scared but done so in a mocking way with a smirk on her face. "Is this better for you?" She motioned with her nose to where he stood. "You're just as close." She replied, accompanied by an eyeroll, but if he looked closely you could see Wasppaw's claws slide out and dig into the soft dirt of the territory. Above them, the High Pine casted a shadow across the area as clouds covered the sun before passing through.
