| Kitespring sat on the edge of the river, away from the rest of her hunting patrol. Waiting for a fish to appear, she swiped at it, catching it and landing it on the riverbank. Stars, she still needed to talk with more of her clanmates, but she felt good about herself overall.
Spotting a familiar dark brown tom on the other side of the border, the russet she-cat tensed up. "I don't want any trouble," she growled, getting into a defensive stance. It didn't matter that there was a giant river a few cats wide between them. | Stormwatcher glanced up at the sound of the voice. His eyes narrowed in disdain at the riverclan cat he saw there. It was that one from earlier, all talk no bite is what he remembered of her.
She hurled inults then hid behind all her clanmates that had outnumbered him at the time... He snarled a bit baring his white fangs. Well, she didnt have clanmates this time.
He didnt really want trouble with them either, but she didnt need to know that.
He stalked pacing back and forth a couple times on his side of the shore to the river.
He glared at her but dipped his head finally, to him this marked the end of his conflict with riverclan. It was a very good thing that the whole river was there preventing any further bloodshed.
But as it was he slowly turned and walked away with a wisp of his tail disappearing into the thick trees of skyclan land.
She could call out to him if she wanted but he was done with the fishbreath of a clan. He didnt want any trouble with them but that did NOT mean he liked them at all.

| Kitespring was surprised at the tom's apathy. Didn't he want a fight with RiverClan the last time they crossed paths? She'd reacted impulsively, and did something she immediately regretted, but he seemed to be afraid of his clanmates...
Well, she was alone now. Did he not want to fight?
"I-" she started, before holding her tongue. She was not going to just say 'I hate you' and spark more anger between the two clans. Their claws were sheathed, their conflict was over. Kitespring still had unrest seeing the brown tom, and his scorn for RiverClan - for Perchstar - but he didn't seem to want a battle right now.
