Subject: Ryekit's Apprentice Ceremony Sat 1 Jun 2024 - 7:34
As the days grew warmer for summertime and the sky a deep blue without a cloud in sight. It felt so perfect- the soft breeze bristled the grass of the moorlands and everything felt correct. Rapidfire remembered back to when she was just a kitten - born on the long trip back from the lake and having to cuddle in from the freezing cold snow and ice on the clans long voyage home.
She blinked almost able to see the snow flying around her now until she forced herself to be grounded back in the present.
She hoped up to the tallrock - ready to start Ryekit's journey to warriorhood.
"Everyone, please gather round for another celebration"

Run Rabbit, Run
Another ceremony?! This time, Creampaw didn't even try to hide her reluctance, letting out a loud groan as her mother's voice rang through the Camp. Which annoying yapper was being made an apprentice today and continue to take up yet more space in the apprentice's den? It was crowded enough-- and smelly enough! Gosh, she might even offer to sleep in the elder's den just to get some space for her own nest.
Gold is in our blood
Another ceremony, and Leopardpaw had the sinking feeling that it wouldn't be any of his siblings'. How had this happened? His littermates were all perfectly healthy, so what was stopping Rapidfire from naming them apprentices? He shot his mentor a glare, then reluctantly sat down in the crowd. Creampaw had been complaining non-stop about the amount of ceremonies, but he just wished they would be his littermates'.

Ryekit was lounging so comfortably by the mouth of the nursery. The sun was hitting his dusty, unkempt pelt in such a way that it felt so cozy and warm and he had really, really tried not to sleep (he didn't give even a piece of effort) but it was just so tempting...
"Huzaht..." He mumbled as some kind of shout pierced his slumber. His head bowed forward lazily. Just another minute.

When Rapidfire called for another clan meeting, Quickpaw was just about ready to giggle out loud. Now that she has thought about it, how many more of these will there be? She felt bad for the deputy because this must get tiring and boring at some point, right?
When the apprentice peeked at the gathering crowd, she could see that they too were getting a bit tired of the back-to-back ceremonies. However, she hoped that that wouldn't ruin this special moment for whoever this was for.
Please be one of her siblings, please be one of her siblings, please be one of her siblings—
Again, that thought kept popping up, and she kept shoving it away. Keep calm, Quickpaw. Your siblings will get their ceremonies at some point, hopefully...
Most warriors in their clan had apprentices at this point from the long list of kits that were moving to the apprentice den. Everyone except for Coyotegrin and Eaglefly had apprentices at this point. And Coyotegrin was leaving soon. Which meant that she could give Eaglefly another apprentice or double them up. Eaglefly had specifically asked not for another apprentice - the tom was still broken hearted after Cloudy
Doubling up would have to begin. A good thing to see so many apprentices she just hoped the warriors wouldnt mind extra training sessions
"Everyone, Ryekit has reached 6 moons of age and will now be known as Ryepaw their mentor will be Eveningmoon"
