Falconkit was feeling restless. Many of his littermates were apprentices now and he was growing… jealous of them. His interest in earning his name was at war with dread over having to rise to the expectations of his bloodline. He wanted little part of training. practicing the Code, or anything of the sort… but he wanted freedom. Viper, Fox, Red, and Mold were still stuck in the nursery with him, at least. But--Falconkit let out a frustrated graah and his tail thumped the ground. He needed something to do with his paws. He wanted a good scrape.

As his head tossed side to side, his eyes landed on Deerkit. One of Nectarflower’s several daughters--one of the spunky ones, if he remembered right. She seemed likely to take him up on his offer. And if she didn’t, then maybe a conversation would be enough to keep his paws from buzzing too much. Falconkit rolled to his paws and padded over, coming to a halt just in front of her. He stretched out, forelegs reaching in front of him and back curling high in the air; then he stretched the other way, spine curving low and chest pressing outward. After he shook himself out and returned to his regular slouch, Falconkit fixed his eyes on Deerkit and purred, ”Hey, there. Think I could interest you in a bit of wrestling?”
