Going to the camp

Shadowkit was being carried by Featherfall, he looked around, and sniffed the unfamiliar scents.

They reached the camp shortly and Daykit bounded out of the nursery, eager for fresh kill. Instead, her mother sat a muddy, hungry black kit with white ears infront of her. She wrinkled her nose. "Momma, whose this!" She asked. "He sure isn't food." The golden kit said, her belly growling.

"here daykit you can have this" she mewed handing daykit a mouse

Fallenkit looked shyly out out of his nest. Come on..he's new. He forced himself to stand up, and sit near his sister. He looked at Shadowkit. "H-hello...I'm Fallenkit..may I ask you you are?" he asked the other kit, stammering. He twitched an ear. This cat didn't look like a kit. Rather an apprentice age, like himself.

He stared at his paws, almost feeling unwelcomed until he heard Fallenkit's voice, he looked up at him, "Shadowkit..." he murmered quietly.

Rainstar approached.
"Make sure you kits are nice to Shadowkit," she warned them. "He's been lost for a while."

Featherfall nodded, and sat Shadowkit down beside Daykit and Fallenkit. "Daykit, let Shadowkit have that mouse. He's much hungrier than you." She said, walking off to fetch some wet moss.


Daykit watched her mother go, then pushed the mouse towards Shadowkit. "Here you go." She said.

He looked at the mouse for a second, the took a quick bite, licking his paws.

Daykit jumped up suddenly, happy and bright eyed. "Hey Shadowkit, do you wanna play." She asked pawing the ground.

He looked up, his red eyes sending a cold-hearted stare, "Sure......" He said.

His look didn't change her attitude. Daykit still jumped to and fro, with a smile slapped on her face. "Come on, lets play." She said brightly, cuffing at his ear with sheathed paws.

He rolled his eyes, with a sheated paw, he swatted her in the side, sighing.

Daykit let out a mrrow of laughter as she rolled into some grass. She raised her haunches and purred before jumping out of the bushes and rolled under Shadowkit's belly, and gave his arms a shove, making him fall.

He landed with a thud, and rolled over, diving on top of Daykit, claws sheathed, he stared down at her, pinning her.
