Fidgetpaw, if he could even be called an apprentice at this point, walked the tunnels. The claw marks on the walls painted tabby stripes along their sides, telling stories come and gone.

Does Sootstorm have marks on these walls?

He paused, feeling his paws trying to discern the grooves. Was every cat's claws different? Would he know his father's paws if he felt them, saw them?
