Wolfpaw Apprentice | ShadowClan| he/him "You don't believe me? You will. You will become a true believer."
The night was long. Long and drawn out and this patrol felt even longer. Pawsteps were all he could hear and the distant chitter of bird or something, and the quiet chatter of the few he had accompanied. He was at the back of the pack, trudging along the taken rear. His ear twitched, he looked to the side-- A rustling in the gorse, somewhere-- He dropped. Smelled like a rat or mouse, it was hard to pinpoint it with the twoleg scent.
Wolfpaw is attempting to catch a rat... Success.
He leapt, paws outstretched and landing on the back of the rat silently for his size. He leaned down, sinking his teeth into its neck. The rush of blood along his tongue no longer excited him like it used to. He supposed a rat was not enough anymore.

She remained in his memory simply as the most plaintive and poignant of a line of ghosts
Juniperpaw was finally returning to patrols, keeping to only hunting patrols it seems. Perhaps her father was scared she'd be caught by Twolegs again. She didn't mind the extra protection; if anything, she adored the extra attention her father gave her once in a while that he gave no other. But for now, she had to hunt. The small she sent a nervous glance Wolfpaw's way. He was Fernpaw and Hedgepaw's brother, and yet he seemed to have gotten neither of his sibling's kindness or gentleness. He was rough, scary, and made her take a few steps away. As soon as the patrol split to hunt, she scurried away, darting nervously into the shadows. The scent of rabbits came to her then, and a quick look around the area determined the location of her prey. The rabbit was young, but already it was almost her size. The black she's paws trembled as she imagine hunting that large of a prey down, but regardless she hurled herself forward, skidded on the soft pine needles, and only just managed to snag the rabbit's hindleg. She killed it after several heartbeats of struggle, and dragged the bloodied, scruffy creature back to the patrol.
Everything I say is a lie, but they’re the only things keeping me alive
Being on another patrol with Wolfpaw was the last thing he wanted, but he couldn't just walk up to Leopardstar or Sablestrike telling them one of their apprentices had tried to kill him and therefore he no longer wanted to be on patrols with that little maniac. Not only would they not believe him because Wolfpaw was Pineblossom's son, he'd get himself into more trouble and he might hurt Hedgepaw. His apprentice had yet to realise her brother's violent urges, it seems. Whatever, he'd get the patrol done as soon as possible, and it wasn't as if Wolfpaw could attack him now in front of the rest of the patrol, let alone best him in a fight. Quillsplash was quick to find a mouse and kill it, half-disappointed with the small catch.
