Auburnrain made her way to the abandoned barn where she'd met that one rogue, Louse. Maybe he'd still be around. After all of the nonsense at the gatherings, losing her voice, and the fact that she would like nothing more than to rip out every Shadowclan cat's liver, she wanted to interact with someone not in Windclan for a change. Someone she could just vent furiously and freely to without getting in trouble or being accused of doing something stupid. It wasn't her fault no one else had any guts or knew how to have fun. Cowards. All of them. They were all content to loaf around in the grass they called home and never truly seek to seize any real power. She was bored. She wanted more out of life than to be a servant to a bunch of other Windclanners that were no better than her.

The dark brown she-cat entered the barn and purposely kicked over a plank that had been leaned up against the wall. It landed with a thud. There was movement in the straw, but it was too small to have been a cat. She leaped for it, certain it was a mouse.

Auburnrain attempted to catch a mouse! She was SUCCESSFUL! -3SP

And it was. She dispatched the creature swiftly, giving it a frustrated shake in her jaws before she dropped it to the floor. More movement in the straw... definitely not a mouse. Too big. She crouched, hoping for Louse, but preparing for something worse.

Grub Jr's belly growled angrily at her, begging her to put literally anything into it. An easy meal could have come from the rotten meals of the dumpsters in the alleyway, but she had already wandered too far out to even think of turning around now. Instead, she crept through the tall grass of the overgrown weeds that surrounded an abandoned barn. She scented her siblings here, though they didn't seem to be around now. She did, however, hear the sound of baby birds twittering about in the patch of grass beside her. What luck!

An easy enough lunch of eggs and baby birds was enough to satisfy Grub Jr's stomach, her crooked whiskers twitched as she swiped her tongue over her jaw. Now she was free to explore without any interruptions-- There was a soft thud coming from the inside of the barn; something that reminded her of when her dad had hunted inside the barn that RiverClan claimed as their own. The unmistakable sound of paws hitting the wooden plank floor.

Curiosity grabbed hold of her, her paws moving on their own as she scaled the wall that smelled familiar: WindClan. She knew that scent well after they had rushed through the moors from that dog who took her fathers life not too long ago. As she reached the top, she called down below, "Yooohoooo~?"

At the sound of an unknown voice, Auburnrain's ears flattened against her head and her eyes snapped up to the source. This wasn't who she was looking for. The stiffness in her body posture and the fire in her gaze was clear: Get too close and I will hurt you. "What do you want, rogue? She mouthed, her tail fluffing out in annoyance. Hopefully violence.... because she certainly wanted violence at this point.
