A Land Down Under (open good vibes topic)

Standing near the entrance of one of the tunnels, Molehill let out a long sigh. It had been a while since he'd had time to visit his favorite place in the territory and other than some loose dirt around the edges, not much had changes. Daisyfang, though he mourned her greatly, would've wanted the plump tom to have some fun and enjoy himself. So, here he was, hoping to have some time to himself to relax and do something he loved.

Eveningmoon had been on the hunt - that was until she caught the familiar scent of Molehill on the breeze. It took her a bit to realize that her paws had automatically changed paths, forgetting her hunting expedition as she came across where Molehill was sitting. Her ears perked as she spotted the hole next to him - an entrance to a tunnel, she imagined. This... This was an opportunity she had been seeking for moons as she nervously cleared her throat as she approached. "Hey Molehill," she greeted, giving him a nervous smile. "I'm...Um...What are you up to?" she meowed, straightening up as she tried to steady herself against the rapid beating of her heart as she struggle to try to think of how to properly bring up the subject of her desire to learn from him. "Checking on the tunnels?"

Coyotegrin was walking back to camp with her son, Kestrelchirp, when the scent other WindClanners caught their nose. Nodding her head in the direction, the pair turned course. Kestrelchirp was practically plastered to her side - which she didn't mind. It meant that she could make sure he was safe and not going missing too. Sometimes though, it made her sad. He was wasting his life as her shadow. Pushing those thoughts aside, Coyotegrin crested the hill and joined Molehill and Eveningmoon. Dirt clung to every inch of her and she shook it out creating a cloud of dust. Her green eyes stared intently at them, if not shadowed. "What are you two up to?" She said almost monotone. It had been difficult and joyous when other WindClanners decided to tunnel too. She wanted it to be done her way, done right and methodical. After all, she had built these tunnels twice. But, she had resigned to the fact that Tunnel Captain was a made up name by a tom who promised the world and failed her.

A memory flashed in her head- Shrikestar at the time jumping in front of a predator, giving a life for hers. But it was one life, when he had many. That is what a leader should do.

Kestrelchirp cleared his throat, shaking Coyotegrin from her thoughts that had twisted into a scowl. The orange warrior then turned to the pair and gave his dazzling, warm smile. "It's a great day to dig, huh?" His smooth voice, soft like kitten fur attempting to diffuse the tension in the tiny cat's body as she stood next to him.
