Blazefang found herself paying a visit to the place where she would’ve buried Dayquill had he made it home. It still hurt like a fresh wound, the fact that he’d been buried out beyond Highstones somewhere. The tired she-cat lay down at the spot she’d chosen. “Hey, love,” she whispered, hoping he could hear her in StarClan. “I know it’s been a bit, but life’s been crazy. Remember the first time we met at Fourtrees? I was so silly and flustered for those first few meetings, and I didn’t even know why. I miss those days. I miss you. It looks like I’ll be sticking around here for a bit longer, but I can’t wait to see you again.”
