Poppyshine

Poppyshine never wanted any of her clanmates to feel neglected, but she worried that she had been doing that since the battle with SkyClan. She spent so much time in her own grief and struggling through her own feelings that she had not focused on her clanmates who may also be hurting in their own ways. In particular…Murkyriver.

Murkyriver was RiverClan now, but that didn’t mean that she did not come from ThunderClan. It was simply a fact that she had, and with Mottlestar having died…Well, Poppyshine wasn’t sure how Murkyriver was dealing with that. Maybe she was unaffected, but maybe she was really struggling. As the deputy—and as a clanmate—she wanted to make sure that she was okay.

“Murkyriver,” Poppyshine called with a slight smile as she approached her. “Would you join me for a walk? I wanted to chat with you. We haven’t really done that.”
