Nightpaw glanced around hesitantly. He'd waited too long - frozen with fear - and he was sure he'd missed his chance. But Muse was still here, and that poor scrap that was once a raccoon was still in the middle of the group, so surely it was okay? He did want to give it a chance - though he felt pathetic knowing that the only time he could attack a predator like this was if it was already dead.

But he padded forward, trying not to feel the stares of the others that he was sure were there, and nipped at the poor creature's hindleg, feeling sorry for the poor thing.
