trapping prey a kit's way [O]

Creekkit couldn't help but be a little alarmed about all the sudden attention, merely watching through curious eyes as the queens brought a beetle for her, no, their hole. It wasn't just hers now, her idea had spread. She couldn't help but puff up with a little bit of pride at the thought of her idea being adopted by others... even though it was perhaps flawed. Flaws were important though, just things to fix! Her head was so up in the stars, she almost didn't notice the beetle beginning to climb away. "Ah, don't let it escape!"

Though she began to scrabble closer, Featherkit had thankfully been there to save the day... at least for the moment. The bug had begun to escape again. "Good thinking Featherkit! We can just keep it in the hole by knocking it down again! I can see why warriors wouldn't do this I guess, too much work, but its something!" With a toothy grin, Creekkit knocked the beetle back down into the hole with enthusiasm, looking at the queens with joy. "Thanks for the critter! We probably don't need more, my experiment is close to done I think."
