Whisperear smiled at Brackenwing and leaned against her in a quiet show of solidarity with her. They looked to Tigerstar and Sootstorm before they carefully rose to their paws and stretched with a slight wince at their aching joints. “Well…it seems we are decided then. If we leave now, we should make it back before sundown even with us slowing you down.”

They looked over their shoulder at the barn that had become their home for the past several moons. They would miss the quietness of the barn, definitely…But perhaps it would be nice to return to their original home too. Whisperear really hoped that WindClan had truly changed and they could find some peace there. They also wondered if it had changed too much…if it would look unfamiliar with faces that they simply didn’t recognize.

Whisperear turned back. “Thank you for asking us to come back…We should get going.”
