I Can See it All So Clear [Solo}

Daisypaw gently pulled each leaf from its careful place, claws and teeth almost reverent in the silver light that spilled into the darkness of the medicine den. She would do as Tigerdance had asked, make up a blend for herself first. It would ease her mind some, to know if all the medicine cat’s guesswork had pierced together a cure, before she offered her clanmates any more false hope. Tormentil with its bright yellow flowers, soft Lamb’s Ear, sticky Coneflower seeds heavy with sap, bitter Burdock Root, tangled Ragweed, sharp heads of wild garlic, and of course, the fragrant lavender that she had used to line so many nests. She frowned slightly at all the herbs arranged in front of her. It would be a difficult amount to get down, that was for sure. She carefully portioned out the leaves and divided the Burdock Root, and gently curled and crushed the leaves so they would be well incorporated, and easier to swallow.

She stared at it for a long moment, exhaustion making the early dawn light bend and blurr against her eyelids. She would have to push through, WindClan had no one else. She gingerly lapped up the herbs, grimacing at the strange and bitter flavors twisting over her tongue. Only time would tell if she had been successful. Daisypaw trudged over to her nest with heavy paws, finally allowing herself to curl up and rest. She was asleep as soon as her eyes slipped shut.

Daisypaw has used Burdock Root, Ragweed, Wild Garlic, Lavender, Lamb's Ear, Coneflower and Tormentil on herself!
